Honestly with that live bite I tend to catch more halibut and spotties. Sharks don’t really eat the live bait from my experience. I think a big ray ate it though. I use 80-100lb bite leader for the shark
No doubt that was a 7’-8’ guitar fish… Subtle bite and immediate take off… I get em on large casting spoons… Match your braid… 65# braid should get 65# mono( fc floro)
If you go for sharks having a metal leader is pretty useful

Looks like a pre-mo cali hally rig.
Use metal leaders they wont snapped on rocks or sharks
Try using a live bait but with a jig head and try to use it like a lure 😂
