As an Australian and from the same area as patriot and hema. I really enjoyed that, very well put together. The footage , editing and music was a awesome. Really have done a great job of showing off the outback for your USA audience.
Clay... What is the likelihood of XO sending trucks to OZ in the future for a overland series to rock the world! Collaboration with Patriot.. sounds like one hell of series to me. Thx for all the great content. Makes TH-cam seem decent for once 👍😎🇨🇦
As an Aussie watching you guys from the very beginning... I must say this has been years in anticipation. Well done to you guys and to Patriot for making it happen and glad you enjoyed your trip here. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the vids. 👌
So happy to see this happen with you guys. Especially after seeing RidingWithTom doing this on a motorcycle. Wish you could have stayed longer and made this an entire series like usual. Much love from Canada!
Caleb Bickham as aussies we only have minimal choice of rigs we can have. And if your planning to do a trip inland to the outback you really only have one choice...Cruiser, it's all you can really get parts for in the outback.
Looks like it’s going to be a awesome trip. Good on ya to take the boys! And.... for finally showing after all these years that a General tire will go flat.
AWESOME!!!!!! I just want to say thank you for sharing this trips and the knowledge and the cultures. You guys are amazing, funny, and the trucks are splendid..... and one more thing and I know is late but thank you for going to Colombia, that's my country I love love love that season !!!!!!!!! Great job all of you.
Awesome! I am from India and have watched most of ur episodes. Though overlanding is not very common in India but Clay u have inspired me to take up overlanding. Thank you guys!!
Andrew St Pierre White, Ronny Dahl, and now you guys have all done Simpson videos recently. I'm sure I will enjoy this series but I feel like I've seen a lot of the Simpson lately.
Certain times of year it is best to do the trip (cooler months). That is why many travel that area at similar times subsequently making videos. The best part is. they have all taken a different path. Ronny and crew took the Madigan Line, Patriot/XO took the French Line, and Andrew took another similar line to these guys but wasn't quite as direct.
Awesome episode! Finally made it to Australia, I hope it's enticed you to come back. Fraser is still a MUST do! Love the collaboration. Need to see more of that.
I have so been waiting for this!!! Who'd have thought way back when, when you started this that youd be invited to Australia to hang out with Justin and family, and experience everything about their country that I'm sure they're going to show you! Good for you, guys! Well deserved!
yeah! Explored the San Rafael Swell back in Utah last weekend. Great place to go, Uranium mines, red dirt and good times. Hope to see ya out there! (want a 79 series so bad..) wont ever happen for 20+ years..
Ever seen the movie “Endless Summer”? That amazing, calm, assuring and narrative voice is exactly what you’ve got here. Really enjoying your channel. ✌🏼
The French Line is not the only way across the Simpson. There are actually 3 ways to cross the Simspon - In the northern section there's the Madigan Line (the less travelled & more remote of the 3); then there's the French Line (The middle one of the 3 & the most popular way); then finally the Rig Rd to the south. All 3 make for a great adventure.... but as long as people look after them and don't leave their rubbish behind
Also, Big Red used to be a lot taller than it is now, but due to the amount of traffic it gets, it's no longer like it once was..... The western side is always a greater challenge on Big Red than the eastern side
Hey Rob, what about the WAA Line between the French Track and Rig Road. As less travelled than the other two, it is my favourite after the Madigan Line.
I would love to see you guys doing something with the Australian 4WD Action team of Shaun Whale and Graham Cahill. They remind me of why you guys do this in the first place. Expedition overlanding journeys with great people and best in class video documentation of the hobby in the beautiful outdoors.
I think the 4wd action guys don't do anything like these guys. They are more the extreme good for TV epic climbs etc. I think XO is more like Roothy or Pat Callinan etc where its more about the trip and learning about the history and experiencing the landscape/journey rather than the extreme action.
ExpeditionOverland sorry I just realized Siri talk to text was being mischievous again so I edited my comment good video good work thanks for all the good work guys
Good job Clay! Wow! Australia is one of those places the wife and I want to visit one day! Please tell me you brought back that converted 200 with the last bed on the back. LOL... Love the soundtrack also, reminded me of a Transformers movie which is AWESOME!
Had been looking forward to seeing what Big Red was really like, ever since I saw Andrew Saint Pierre White criticize it after accidentally taking the chicken track hahaha Thanks for sharing, must have been a blast! Keep up the good work and let the good times roll! :)
It's always a issue with the 79 once you start modifying them, anything you do after stock requires a upgraded clutch. I just don't think they realise the load we put these rigs through here in Oz back that the factory.
Hey All! This was quite the amazing trip! Some of the team is still recovering ;) But it was totally worth it. Enjoy and thank you for watching!
HELLLLL YESSSSSS, ive been hanging for this one, 2 of my favorite brands together on the same trip, looking to the rest of the series
Say hello to Ronny Dahl wile ya there!!! Lots of great overlanders around there!!!! yall be safe!
Thanks!
I was thinking the same thing.
Except he lives on the other side of the country
Yeah Ronny Dahl is a legend
Except he lives in Western Australia all the way on the other side of the country.
This video deserves millions of views!
As an Australian and from the same area as patriot and hema. I really enjoyed that, very well put together. The footage , editing and music was a awesome. Really have done a great job of showing off the outback for your USA audience.
Except they pronounce Brisbane wrong at the beginning so I shut the video down (yes, I'm a Aussie in the USA)
Clay... What is the likelihood of XO sending trucks to OZ in the future for a overland series to rock the world! Collaboration with Patriot.. sounds like one hell of series to me. Thx for all the great content. Makes TH-cam seem decent for once 👍😎🇨🇦
That shot at 20:50 is what epic overlanding trips are made of! Love the new scenery!
As an Aussie watching you guys from the very beginning... I must say this has been years in anticipation. Well done to you guys and to Patriot for making it happen and glad you enjoyed your trip here. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the vids. 👌
Daaaaaaaaaamn, get it you guys. So cool.
Just watched Ronny Dahl do the same trip, now you guys! I need to get to OZ soon! great episode, I cant wait for more!
So happy to see this happen with you guys. Especially after seeing RidingWithTom doing this on a motorcycle. Wish you could have stayed longer and made this an entire series like usual. Much love from Canada!
Love the Aussie style rigs, drawing lots of inspiration for future projects
Caleb Bickham as aussies we only have minimal choice of rigs we can have. And if your planning to do a trip inland to the outback you really only have one choice...Cruiser, it's all you can really get parts for in the outback.
Thank you very much for new adventure trip in Australia i enjoy it very much.
Looks like it’s going to be a awesome trip. Good on ya to take the boys! And.... for finally showing after all these years that a General tire will go flat.
So happy you got to see some of the most stunning parts of this country. There's so much more though!
Brisbane! Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast are amazing! Beautiful country, worth the adventure and offer many tours including the Steve Irwin Park!
Hell yes! I've been wanting to see you guys in Australia for years!!
No words ... simply AMAZING !!! THANK YOU !!!!
Thank you so much!
I wish you the best to embark another feat in the Gold Coast of Australia. Salute to all your team on your new journey.
WOW!!! What an incredible adventure cant wait to see the next video in the series.
Trent Kreitler can't get enough!
Stefan Fischer of Alloffroad Adventures (youtube) and southern sky photograhy also did the simpson desert this year
Was thinking the same thing...
Awesome episode! Finally made it to Australia, I hope it's enticed you to come back. Fraser is still a MUST do! Love the collaboration. Need to see more of that.
Awesome stuff! Great to see you boys enjoy our backyard!
Awesome guys, glad you're loving Australia, the greatest overlanding country in the world.
I have so been waiting for this!!! Who'd have thought way back when, when you started this that youd be invited to Australia to hang out with Justin and family, and experience everything about their country that I'm sure they're going to show you! Good for you, guys! Well deserved!
Thank you! It was really special!
Hope you enjoyed driving on the "right" side of the road... 😁😁
Justin is a legend 🤣🤣🤣
Welcome to our backyard boys, the centre of Australia is something special.
PS: Bears are scarier than crocs!
Have you ever jumped a croc in the wild? ITS HELLA SCARY!!
Fantastic, Goosebumps!!!!
Amazing scenery can’t wait for more!
When are you putting out Part 2? I dream about going to Australia and im glad yall are doing this.. NOW GIVE US PART 2!!!
Adam Sanders we would love to have you here mate🇦🇺. Where would you want to hit here?
Great to see you guys out here in Oz! The Simpson was a great choice of trip and an icon of Aussie overlanding.
yeah! Explored the San Rafael Swell back in Utah last weekend. Great place to go, Uranium mines, red dirt and good times. Hope to see ya out there! (want a 79 series so bad..) wont ever happen for 20+ years..
Nice Vid. Look forward to more. Brings back memories conquering Big Red. Steve
I can hardly wait for rest of the crossing! Fraser Island this is definitely not. Overlanding it definitely is, Aussie style. Good on ya, Mate!
Awesome! What an adventure to come!
Amazing footage and scenery. Can't wait for the rest. Keep up the good work!
Typical Aussie hospitality from day 1, proud to be Aussie, oi oi oi
Aussie Aussie Aussie!
I watched it twice lol...So Stoked for the next one!!!

Yes, I forgot about that one as well.... Hopefully we will be travelling that one next year after doing the Madigan
WOOOHOOOO!!! NEW SEASON!!!! Super excited!!!
Incredibly inspirational. I would love to drive a vehicle like that to see Australia.
I like the Aussie styling that they apply to their offroaders.
Awesome!! One day I have to go Australia.
It's absolutely hilarious seeing an aussie on camera, being subtitled in english
Having a good butcher is so underestimated these days
underrated
@@48956l that’s the word
@@URBANAMERICANTAC oh I meant your comment was underrated lol
Awesome 👍
Now this is an epic journey. Cannot wait for the rest of it.
Next trip....up the coast. I wanna see the beaches and ocean!
Am I the only one who has never seen a 200 series truck before? That thing looks so cool.
They're a Custom job, rear quarter chop popular in Australia cut rear off extend chassis and fit a tray. Makes a 79 looks like its 1970 again
I'm glad you guys came down to the greatest country on earth. Hopefully next time you'll have more time to spare.
Looks amazing. On my bucket list
Wow! Very impressive. Great sights.
I'd love to see a trans Australian trip similar to the pan American trilogy some day.
You created such great memories for the kids.
So nice of mini Travis Browne to show you around the outback!!!
Ребята это круто. Очень часто смотрим ваши поездки. Очень классно вы проехали.
looks like you guys had a blast in Australia. I've seen Patriot Campers on 4WD Action too. Nice campers for sure.
Great job gentlemen, look forward to seeing the next episode.
The ending music is so epic.
Awesome job team!

Crike, that was fantastic! 👍
Lol.......gold, love the subtitles for Barnsie.
Australia is only country, other than the US, I could totally live for a few years. It seems to be an amazing country.

I think the Kimberly would have been a better expedition . But good to see another simpson crossing 👍
Awesome episode, why was the 6x6 left behind? I was looking forward to seeing it in action.
What an amazing #community
YESS AUSTRALIA YESSSSSSS
It's always a issue with the 79 once you start modifying them, anything you do after stock requires a upgraded clutch. I just don't think they realise the load we put these rigs through here in Oz back that the factory.
Love it!
Awesome video!
