No one can doubt why an Oscar was won for Malek's performance. Pure talent and genius.
Only Freddie can practice his vocal pitch and get 80,000 people to sing along. One of one. There will never be another Freddie
I imagine how many times the actor watched the original, in order to copy EXACTLY the same movements, at the same time. More than deserved Oscar!
The Fact the Movie also did the entire 20min concert with out cuts is also a unique experience.
This is 18 minutes of perfectly choreographed physical acting. Not just Rami, but all four of them. Even when the actor is not the focus of the shot and just in the background, they are still in lock-step the original. Just so so good.
I watched this live on the day, and I knew then it was probably the greatest live performance there had ever been. Now, nearly forty years later, it still is. You will never see anyone put more into a 20 minute guest spot in the middle of a hot July day than Freddie did that day. He was the best, and much missed.
If Freddie Mercury were still alive I believe he would tell Rami, “absolutely stunning job darling”

Seeing it like this, you can really appreciate the attention to detail. Not just the actor mirroring the moves, but the couple of times when the cameras are following and it matches what's on the right because you're seeing it on TV.
if you ever feel unlucky just remember somebody had to perform after this.
its fascinating how Rami was able to act out every action Freddie did, just proving what a great actor Rami is

Everyone praises the actors, but can we have a moment to appreciate the set crew for their amazing attention to the details
Bohemian Rapsody is simply one of the best movies ever made... the entire performance of every actor including THIS very concert is just brilliant. A milestone in history ... hopefully this one gets saved for the next thousand years as it is just a masterpiece of art. Period.
