Nine-Ball Seraph Mod Preview - Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon

- Preview came out a little later than usual, but I collected enough clips to be featured in the actual mod showcase to be completed at a later date.
As previously stated in my Sunday community post, this mod uses the Nine-Ball Seraph model from the PS3 game Another Century's Episode: R (2010), which happens to also have been developed by FromSoftware. That version of Nine-Ball has so many weapons, it's unlikely anyone will be able to make a mod that incorporates them all with the appropriate particles and VFX anytime soon.

What’s funny is that Nineball and AllMind are two exact opposites in terms of motives.
AllMind wants to speed up humanities evolution by any means via coral release. Nineball however tries to keep the status quo to maintain order, going so far as to keep everyone underground.
Nineball acts much more like The System, the AI leading the PCA, then AllMind.
DLC plot twist the System is h-1 nineball.

Nine ball ai sort of reminds me of the Yorha ai from nier lol supposed to preserve humanity but not going about it in the best of ways lol
@@pillarmenn1936 i really wanna fight Nine Ball in AC6. so unless they put him in a DLC or a sequel, we ain't fighting him... though 9B being the organizer of the PCA would make sense, something like "Sub System 9-B activated: commencing hostility's." make all the Master of Arena and Another Age players shit bricks.

I can prove it too. I've been seeing a lot of people thinking ALLMIND would win against the big man himself. Sorry to break it to y'all but doing my research on the exact variables, Nineball Seraph could actually easily beat ALLMIND. Let me explain why. I've looked into it and i nearly shit a brick when I realized that Nineball Seraph has around 8 different weapons and 5 abilities to use at his disposal.
In armored core, the average AC can only use a maximum of 6 different weapons (including internal and extension parts). Nineball Seraph also has multiple of the same weapon simultaneously equipped, so let's make those 12 different weapons at his disposal.
First off, his dual moonlights which are actually upgraded moonlights that can deal a maximum of 3,000 AP. His ingame speed suggests he can move as fast as a NEXT which is why he is so very hard to hit in MOA and AA.
He also has infinite energy and has a flight mode in which no AC in the whole series actually has. He also has infinite boost and also hence why he has no walking animation. Secondly, he has dual machine guns on his torso, dealing a base damage of 50 AP a shot, dual karasawas that deal 520 AP a shot, dual plasma missiles that deal 250 AP a missile, Physical missiles that do 120 AP a missile, I also forgot to mention he has drones in which he was in ACE: R which his abilities in that game is technically canon.
So he has invisibility, Orbital drones, Laser drones, Mega laser beam, Can also crash into enemies and deal depressive amounts of damage. and here we have ALLMIND who only really has 5 different weapons and can easily become a big metal sponge from two zimmerman SGs.
Poor ALLMIND would be overwhelmed by his sheer speed. Nineball Seraph may only have 6000 AP but he can spam all of his attacks (not all at once) but at a very quick interval. I'm sorry to say, but Nineball wins, believe it or not. Hell, he can quite possibly take on the combined forces of the Redguns and Vespers for all we know. Hes been going easy on us in MOA and AA, because he knows that his enemies are only really after him exclusively, therefore, he doesnt consider them a big deal. But ALLMIND would be a great danger to his plans, therefore, he is not going to go easy on her.
ALLMIND may be thousands of years more advanced than he is but in the Armored Core novel, a black version of Nineball Seraph was seen fighting against a fucking NEXT and won! and you can see how you can smoke the campaign between your fucking toes from the AC4 movement mod, not to mention the attack damages on some of the weapons in the game.
My conclusion, Nineball wins flawlessly, but i can see how you think ALLMIND can kill him, although it may be possible but under the circumstances, she wouldnt last 4 seconds in hell with this monster.

This remind me of his surprise appearance in another Fromsoft game, Another Century Episode : R. He was treated as some kind of difficult boss and goddamn, in a world where 2 mecha genre with overpowered weaponry and literal superpower, this single mech somehow able to fight 3 of them and somehow withstand their attack.
It's kind of badass
Best part: This mod is based on that exact same version of Nineball-Seraph. Right down to the extra wing-binders on its shoulders.
The only saving grace was it that it wasnt hustler 1 piloting it

Little missed opportunity to make the Assault Boost look like that flying mode you can catch Seraph doing during the boss fight. Considering the Assault Boost of the Lammergeier tetrapod legs, I'd imagine it'd be possible to make it work.
Imagine if we have weapon arms back. I hope we get a dlc and official Nineball Seraph part.
Btw if you ACE:R version Nineball have primal armor so either coral shield or pulse armor will do.

Nineball seraph really is still the deadliest machine in AC franchise after all these years, especially this version from another century, it now has orbit weapon, primal armor and a built in laser cannon inside the chest.
Once I heard "Target verified. Commencing hostilities!", I felt a jolt run through body.

That Assault boost looks so brutal
would love to see Nine-Ball, an A.I from the first gen of games, duke it out with ALLMIND, an A.I from the 6th gen... Past and Future, old and new, Stagnation and Progression.
If only we could use double melee then it would be perfect.
My only gripe is that Nineball doesn't switch to his jet form when Assault Boosting.

Hello! Just wanted to find out how you made the Moonlight AND the back mount (for swapping between the left arm weapons) invisible. For some reason the back mount still shows up for me even after I managed to hide the weapons orz
The back mount ID for arm weapons is 8950, while the back mount ID for shoulder weapons is 8955. These loose parts need to be turned invisible. If you remember B L A Z E's Gundam Pharact mod, it came with a file that included invisible parts holders. The default for that .dcx is 8955, but it works just as well for 8950.

i would love if they game had shoulder "weapons" that was just extra boosters to boost speed, would make for a cool melee build and if you get out of fuel in the shoulder boosters you just purge them and go on
How did you make the weapons invisible? I'm new to this whole thing and have been wondering how it's done.
For someone who knows a thing or two about modeling, making a part invisible in FLVER is the way to go. For an end user with no modeling experience, though, you can check previous modelswaps mods and see if there's an invisible weapon that matches what you want, as well tweak IDs in case you need an invisible weapon in the same category as the original invisible mod.
