- 1. With the ignition switched OFF, press and hold the 0.0/ SET button (located on the right side of the instrument cluster)
2. While holding down, turn the ignition to the ON position
3. Release the button and briefly press the button for setting the CLOCK (located on the left side of the instrument cluster) once
4. After a brief period, the display will switch back to the normal display indicating the service interval is reset
Awesome. It worked. Thank you.
2014 different FYI-
Hold right hand button, turn on first position key. Scroll until screen asks “reset oil?”, then press OK on steering wheel (right side). 1.8 TSI SE

Thanks man this worked. 🤙🏼
Nice thanks!
Thank you . Worked perfectly
Thanks a lot
Didn't work on my 2015 VW Passat Tdi. I have a bright orange Oil can on top that tells me I need an oil change.
Thomas R. Smith I have the same car with the same issue, did you ever figure it out? If so how do you fix it?
@@LuMarts4 me too
Sean Dixon for me it ended up being that there was too much oil, even a little bit of over fill with the oil can trigger the sensor to go off, mine still has the warranty so I took it to vw and they had it fixed in under 30 mins
I couldn’t get mine to reset … then watched another vid and they mentioned t not resetting if the hood sensor was broken. Turns out I was trying to reset with the hood opened.
When I closed it … it reset no problem.
Thank you 🙏
Thank you very much it worked BROTHER
I did exactly what you've done and it isn't changing it to 10000.

I have a start button. Doesn't work. I press the start button long enough to not start engine, light still there
