To speak the truth , Arthur’s rage was actually right . This scene just showed how would HE react if he was Morgana . The exact way she did . But she didn’t have Merlin , or someone to guide her well . So she didn’t turn back from this path ‘Til death 😔

This was prepared for a talk I gave at the Royal College Music a while back. This was my original submitted version which was altered for the final broadcast version, likely because it was felt that the performances of the principal cast was so strong the producers did not feel it needed any extra help. I thought it might be of interest to some people if only to show the process and decisions that go to making a show like this, often under a great deal of time pressure.

Uther the father and tyrant, Arthur the son and true king. Both driven though by human emotions to be fools. But blood ties win out.
