Respectfully my brother, you need to be a bit more thorough. I understand you don't want to waste people's time but if you are doing a tutorial, you need to understand that people coming to you don't know what they are doing. So speeding through these steps isn't helpful. I'd recommend uploading a new tutorial that's maybe 3-4 minutes to ensure everyone understands the steps. Thanks for the video regardless.
I do see a lot of people struggling. Perhaps it would have been better to be more thorough for those people. There are also the people who don't need that, though, and value a faster tutorial. I think it's more about the target audience. There's 15+ min videos out there, though. But yeah, I'm not gonna say I couldn't have done better :)

can you do a video on how to use your discord voice as the microphone? Because when I'm in a discord call my voice sounds perfect I want to use that as the mic
Check what mic discord is using and use the same mic elsewhere. If u wanna control the mic sensitivity, u can also use voicemeeter and instead set the mic to voicemeeter B2. It's the little gate wheel you see on inputs.
@hi-im-aj I gave up. Went back to factory system. I had voicemeeter a few years ago. It's updated its drivers interface and everything alot. Im probably just gonna find a better program.
I also notice that the video has a 96% like to dislike ratio. I have a feeling it is mostly people having trouble going to the comment section. I also notice many don't actually follow the steps in the video and I am sure I could have been more clear and done a better job, but I do not intent to redo the video. I am sorry you are having trouble though. Getting this setup right has always been difficult for people, me included when I first gave it a go. Good luck though, you got this :)

I ended up fixing it, but I’d say you should make a new video for every other step, right? Some bits of your audio weren’t correct in the video, so I had to figure it out myself. I found a way after a few days.

i followed every step and it works apart from my vrc audio also going through my mic
I can see that the music is playing through my mic but cannot hear the music
couple problems for vrchat, cant hear any audio, mic doesnt pick up anything, had to delete it all for my vrc to work normally

Eartrumpet didn't work for me either, VB-Audio cable did! Just follow the same steps only with the VB-Audio (virtual) cable.
Would this work with something like 7.1 surround sound? Ive tried getting it to work with 7.1 but cant figure it out
