Trainable Weka Segmentation - how to segment color images using 3 classes

  • Basic tutorial showing how to use the Trainable Weka Segmentation plugin of Fiji to segment color images into three different types of regions. The video has no sound, you need to have the captions enabled to follow the tutorial instructions.
    The example images are stained maize stem cross sections (Safranin and Alcian blue staining makes lignified tissues appear red, and nonlignified tissues

    Thanks for sharing this video, it is very useful for me. I am just wondering how the resulted image is in black white and gray instead of label color? Is it possible to make areas classified as one class into black? Thank you in advance.

    can anyone help me, why cant I find the segmentation under my plugins?

      Hi, is there any chance it has scrolled off the bottom of your plugins menu? There should be an arrow at the bottom to continue scrolling down. I have that issue with the large number of plugins I have! Otherwise, I would make sure you have Fiji and not the original ImageJ.
