You know, aside from the big "up" on the way back, I think that's one of my favorite falls to experience! The way it gently meanders down the rocks into perfectly formed pools is so relaxing and nice. Perfect spot to sit and listen to nature (and eat Annie's organic Cheesy Smiles 😊). Loved the Fairy Slipper orchids, too and I'm so happy we found some! Whoop! ❤
I go there every year looking for Fairy Slippers. That hillside in the way down to the creek usually has them. I went in June 1 this year and didn't see too many.
The trail was really pretty, the steep hill not so nice! LOL. The water fall made up from it though it was really pretty an seemed like the perfect spot for a tea break an Annie's Cheesy Smiles! Hope the 10 second rule came into play otherwise the persistant ants had a nice snack!
Nick, if you could only do Fox Creek Falls or West Creek Falls which would you choose? We won't be there until October so I know the water flow would be much lighter. Thanks in advance!
@johnkrumm6860 I would probably say West Creek. Although both are rarely visited I would say you might run into people at West Creek. But West Creek is a much bigger falls and it's an easier hike.

Ha! Love the Zoolander reference. 🤣
I'm surprised that you haven't transitioned to camping, with your love of the outdoors.
15:21 is nice
