Run it for a few days if the light stays out its fine. Every time i disconnected the battery this would happen, I cleared the fault on occasion a few times and it stayed out for over 18 months. The corsa has to go through a complete cycle idle, 40MPH etc look it up, give it a good run throw in some red x and you will find this is a common issue with these cars.
@@jimcaddis9417 cheers for your input Jim The car is in daily use now in Kent so it’s had a run down there light came back on the day after the journey when it was here with me it took 3 times of the car being started to trigger the light again then it would stay on I’m thinking might be a faulty new sensor
You could have the wrong sensor make sure it's correct for that year, also it could be in the ECU could be just a bad connection try cleaning out the connectors to the ECU pull them out spray the plug with some wd40 push them back in. if that doesn't resolve the issue I would say it's somewhere in the ECU failing or a bad cable
@@jedi-mic cheers mate for the ideas I’m pretty sure it’s the right sensor it’s possible the new one is faulty it’s a cheap make from eBay but I’ll check the ecu end as I hadn’t thought of that Cheers 👍
