Was made aware by my friend about the incidents surrounding Eberth Santos. Safe to say I won’t be doing any videos on him 🤦♂️ Instructionals - bjjfanatics.com/?rfsn=6680940.f8a1a0 Discord - discord.gg/8AHCpdUn49 Instagram - instagram.com/deepdivejj/
I would say an honorary mention for the knee cut is Xande Riberiro and Saulo. Also, Murilo Santana has a great pressure passing and I learned a lot about side to side passing from the Mendes Bros. I need to work on my half guard, thanks for the recommendations!
Yea theres so many more people who deserve to be mentioned. I haven't watched much of the Riberio brothers. Actually more like nothing at all. Definitely slacking on that. Need to add them to my list of people to study. And no problem! Thank you for watching 🙇
Great video! This is literally the question I ask myself all the time lol, what athlete to watch when I’m trying to drill a specific move so this helped alot! 👏👏🔥🔥
@@DeepDiveJJ Here's a good one to get the idea. They like to set it up in a way that they can "create a wall" with their thigh/arm/back to keep the shield out. Also, they focus on dropping the hip onto the hip and putting more weight in their hip than their knee which de-emphasizes the knee placement in case the knee shield gets in anyway. th-cam.com/video/cVo3aFmc-ho/w-d-xo.html
Andrew Wiltse
Definitely a great athlete to study!
Agreed!!!

Lucas Lepri, Leandro Lo and Rafael Lovato Jr. consistently knee cut good opponents with slightly different approaches. Great guys to study.
