IF we could obtain the DEFINITIVE Sonic remake, what would be the first in line CURRENTLY? Is it the Adventure Duology, Heroes, 06 or Unleashed?
With the recent news of a Heroes UE5 Remake, I've been inspired to rank them in terms of Remake-ability(?)

Honestly... its between Rush Games or Unleashed
I never have a chance to play Rush, but it's nice to see it remaster and see Blaze back. What's more, it's almost 20 years since the first game.
Unleashed because after Frontiers, they could fix the Werehog fighting mechanics, giving it a fresh style. Maybe even some more Story related to shorts of the games like Night of the Werehog
Whilst I didn't include Rush, I'd rather a new title! But a Rush remake would be so awesome, and I'd eat it up so quickly. Just a new modern 2D in general is ideal.

i mean, sonic p-06 was the best sonic game ever according to some fans, so a sonic 06 remake could happen. as long as they put effort into it, i dont see the harm in an 06 remake. (plus, 06 was my introduction to sonic, and i loved it for some wild reason)

I'd like a remake of Riders 1. Just improve the graphics a bit whilst maintaining the artstyle. Add an optional tutorial for those who are unfamiliar with the game's mechanics. Add online. Maybe a couple bonus maps from the other games if they don't port them
This! A brand new Sonic Riders OR a remake of the OG is ideal. They struck gold with such a near idea and never properly ran with it. A new Riders would FLOURISH nowadays!
@@SefWhiter I also love how unique it is. As far as I'm aware I don't think there are any other hoverboard racing games. The future aesthetic was so clean, especially in the CGI cutscenes

This is a different topic, but I would love something akin to a Mania 2. I love the art style, and I love the classic gameplay. It would be interesting to expand the world of existing classic sonic games or see alternate reality versions of them

I agree that Sonic 06 definetly needs a remake, but a Sonic and the Secret Rings remaster would be so awesome. New controls and updated graphics is all the game needs to be perfect. Not only Sonic fans would love it but the idea and concept of Satsr (Sonic in the freaking stories of the Arabian Nigths figthing a evil genie holy shit) could attract the general audience and make good money. It's also a safer option for Sega if they are too scared for an 06 remake😂

I think the Adventure games deserve remakes the most. Both games have had their reputation ruined by remasters and ports, to the point that they are shallow versions of their past selves, especially SA1. Although, there is definitely concern over the quality of the product. Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 have already had their reputation tainted, so a bad remake could be the nail in their coffin.
Absolutely. I hold the same reservations. As per the video, the only other remake I think would be more necessary is an 06 remake.
If Shadow HAS to not die, then i think a proper remake of Shadow 05 is very necessary
Fix the jank controls, gameplay, progression and you've got yourself an experimental masterpiece

Watching just the first 30 seconds I was impressed with how engaged I was but wasn't overstimulated to the point of being overwhelmed.
a game i wish thay would remake is the small satarn games (sonic R, and maybe even make a new sonic xtream built from the ground up like the 16 bit games) also knuckles chaotics would be a good one too hook me up whitehead!

I think a remaster of Sonic Unleashed would do just fine, the game still looks beautiful and most of it's gameplay still holds up pretty well (there's even an argument for the werehog here, if you choose to play like an old GOW game, it is pretty fun).
Now if they try to remake, or better, an reimagining of Sonic 06, with graphics made from the ground up, a retouched story line, an gameplay that resemble more SA1's or SA2's physics. The game would have so much potential. Just think about it: a retouched narrative with gameplay up to standard with what we have today like what SquareEnix made with FFVII. And for the mach speed sections: well we have a full engine and formula that would work just fine for something like that in the boost formula (it's kinda perfect when you think about it) and would probably work really well with either an "Remake" of Sonic 06 or the next mainline game (it would even maintain what was great in most Sonic games to date)

I think it's too new for a remake, at least for now! I love the idea of Forces tho so down the line I'd like a sequel, or at least for them to revisit the idea!
Yes, the villian for the story 'infinite' was a very great concept but, it lacked out of story and gameplay. They can improve the story, caracter models and the level length so that it becomes a true sonic game.
I dont want sega to remake 06 because they will just ruin chaosx’s work he worked hard on remaking the game to the point where he made a game better than the adventure games imo i would like to see adventure remakes because they really need it they have a great story but you cant experience it with all of the jank in gameplay
All those stories need to be brought back and retold in an official capacity. Ideally, SEGA pull a Christian Whitehead and fund ChaosX to finish P-06 in an official capacity... Man I want that.

The best Sonic games would honestly make for pretty meh remakes. It'd only be Sonic Team doing what they've been doing since Unleashed, taking what works and throwing away anything that didn't. Plus, if a supposed Adventure remake ends up bad, you kinda screw yourself over. Now, a bad Sonic game is ideal. 06, like you said. I think Project 06 speaks for itself. The storybook games too, a Black Knight reimagining could easily continue and expand on the combat system from Frontiers. Shadow the Hedgehog, not technically a Sonic game but given it's the year of Shadow they could take the opportunity to give Shadow the game he deserves by cleaning up the diverging path system and updating the gameplay to make it less 'Sonic with guns' and more unique.

Sonic Boom (just the games in general) do require a remake. I haven't necessarily *played* them, but from what I've heard, they were crappy, so this would be a good idea.
Im also in happy tears that you included the Thomas theme.
To me, some things are better of as they were. Boom failed fundamentally as a Sonic game, so they'd have to rework a LOT of that title to remake it.
Haha I grew up with Thomas. Had all the DVDs, even a hand-printed mural on my childhood bedroom wall! I still revisit it sometimes for fun. Glad you found enjoyment in that reference!

I really wish Sonic the Hedgehog was like this, introducing a new character and hero named Xielon as Silver and Blaze's other best friend. Xielon is a brave strong kindhearted and loyal mink from another planet known as Planet Yasash. Sorry if there is no one finding my idea very interesting.

So he is from the future as well 200 years and lives happily with his mink family, friends, and tribe until a burning attack launched and sent by Iblis destroys the minks' home planet. While finding it mostly destroyed, he meets and befriends two earth survivors, Silver and Blaze who tell him about Iblis the one responsible for the earth and Planet Yasash's destruction. The three do their best to survive. Now starting with Silver's story, he is flying through a ruined city with Xielon down below near him jumping from building to building. Soon Blaze arrives.

He, Silver, and Blaze then notice Mephiles on the remains of a building. Mephiles tells them the solution is to destroy the Iblis Trigger.

With the four being separated, Xielon on his own is surprised to find himself in the past and soon goes in search of Sonic. During Xielon's time somewhere in the Kingdom of Soleanna he finds a portrait of Elise and catches her name and title as a princess. Later Xielon finds Sonic and tries to attack him. Silver joins in on the attack outnumbering Sonic. From this point, I will continue later.
