Played coop on release and loved it. I don't care much for ladder, trading or any of that. The early access has been great so far.
    Nice video man.

I’m about 6 hours in as a new player to PoE. I don’t get a ton of time to game, so this has been over about 4 play sessions. Currently level 8 and not feeling too overwhelmed. Enjoying the pace and feel of combat.

I always hated this type of games you spam 1 or 2 abilities and just zoom through the map very boring gameplay , now Poe 2 that slower combining mechanic I am glad I have decided to give this game a chance I want and need a crusader class !!!

Its a beautiful 50+ hour experience to play through. I honestly dont think anyone should skip it. You will eventually get where you want to be. Its not a rush to the top....its burning up there. Just enjoy whatever amount of time you spend innthe game. Its that simple.

I think people forget the reason they play games is to have fun. You can pick this game up and play the campaign and it’s pretty fun! It’s not a job!
    Great video man btw :)

Also important: you can absolutely play with people of much higher levels, as long as they come into your party. They will get scaled down, and that works absolutely fantastic. Yesterday me and a buddy had around 20 lvls difference and he got one shotted in my world and wasn't wrecking anything more than me. They did a fantastic job with that.

Ya idk i have 4600 hours in poe 1 the last 3 leagues put 1.5-2 mirrors worth of currency into my build the last 3 leagues and there's a real illusion of complexity and depth in poe 2. Also I personally hate the slightly better slot machine crafting we got.

As a father of a 11 yo and a 20 month old baby, working 8-10 hours a day as well, I can tell you to just enjoy the experience, watch a few videos to smooth the learning curve and then just play it. The game is fun and plays well for a casual, even if you die a lot or have a difficult time/takes longer to progress. In the end, its a game you can pause at any time, alt+F4 whenever needed and you won't lose too much, if anything at all, so for us dads its a game that fits well into our tight schedule and limited free time routine. Congrats on being a dad and have fun!

I'd say endgame content is more geared towards hardcore players. If you're a casual player, or right in between like me, there's plenty fun to be had with the regular campaign. Especially a group of a few casuals really benefit from teaming up, but solo also works fine. Don't listen to people telling you that X build isn't viable, just try to see if you can make your build work for the coming few levels. Meta is for endgame, you do you.
One piece of advice though: don't EVER change things right before logging out. If you plan on quitting after this or that part, and you get gear that would seem an improvement or new support gem, leave it for next session. And don't remap any powers right before boss fights, at least not one that you've been heavily using for the past 6 hours and now realize it's kinda shit. You're better of doing what you got used to than improving on paper but not in practice.

I think anyone can have fun with path of exile even with how difficult the game is. Even someone who doesn’t have a lot of time to dedicate to play can still have fun with the challenge. The issue I don’t think you are aware of is that when the game releases is that they do leagues in which every month or 2 servers get wiped so if you don’t have much time to play you may not get very far in the league. Now even though they do get wiped, in poe1 your characters get transferred to the standard server so you don’t lose your stuff but you just don’t get to play the league or it’s mechanics at that point.

I recently learned about leagues and we'll see how that goes. I prefer not to create an entirely new character over and over again but maybe after a few months I will want to change it up and try a new build. Time will tell

This game is MUCH better than D4 which i paid 100 bucks for. Not as polished as D4, but to me there is so much more content. The full game for D4 IMO should have included the expansion pack, but those greedy asses charge another 100 bucks for it.

As someone with hard job, i feel this game is not something I wanna pursuit anymore... It is too big, too slow, the map size is ridiculous and if you die, it simply resets. If you make mistake, it is pretty much impossible to make it right and you mostly have to create a new character... i have my characters on lvl 13, 17 and 27 and I'm already burned out by this game. Golden Diablo 3, that you simply launched and played without ridiculous decision making that had huge consequences. If I haven't watched few tutorials I would have no chance to even understand the game with gazillion possibilities in gear, builds etc. Not even talking about ARPG having souls like elements where if yo are not using god meta builds, you have no chance to progress at all.

No. The game is not worth it IMO. First, it looks like it came out in 2012. 2nd, if you are not an expert at dodge-rolling, you will hate this game cuz the bosses are all about dodge-rolling to avoid their attacks. If you don’t, you will pretty much get 1-shot. Terribly designed game IMO. Not worth the hype.
