I just read the ACOTAR books and absolutely fell in love with them. You introduced me to the world of romantacy and I’m so thankful. I’ll be starting the Fourth Wing series after I give myself some time to decompress from how much I loved ACOTAR. Thank you again. ❤❤❤
I'm rolling laughing at your description of the coven 😂😂 your description couldn't be more accurate. I read book two for the same reasons and just couldn't take it anymore. I ended up saying the hell with it and stopped reading it in the last chapter. 😂😂😂 I was losing brain cells with that one! I can't wait for you to read the House of Devils series! I loved it so much!
I just saw on Instagram that you read Red Rising. PLEASE keep going with that series. OMG it continues to get better and better. It's one of my favorite series. 😁
Onyx storm’s ending had me shook. I can’t wait for the next book! But I will say I usually like to read series that are already complete because I am not a patient waiter. I loathe having to wait for the next book or the next tv series season. I hate waiting on a cliffhanger!! And then by the time 15 months goes by I already forgot what happened. Lol
Wild Love was a slog to get through. The “conflict” towards the end was a major eye roll for me. Currently reading Deep End by Ali Hazelwood… so far soo good! Penny Reid’s Beard series is also a fav and just starting to come out in paperback.
From what I remember from the second Divine Rivals book is that it’s a lot heavier on the fantasy, and I remember liking it more than the first. So maybe you’ll like it even more!
I read the First two Spark of the Everflame books and Done and Dusted after you talked about them. I really loved all three. I'm really enjoying your book content so far! ❤
The way I look forward to your wrap ups every month now 😁 I loved Onyx Storm of course and cannot wait for Book 4… but think we’re gonna be waiting a long time 😢 I also read Divine Rivals and Ruthless Vows back it April last year and I thought it was good… but idk why it’s so insanely popular. And wow I think I’m gonna skip The cursed and the coven now.
Ruthless Vows is the second book in Divine Rivals. It is more historical fantasy than the first book, a love story during war/battles and more monster scenes. It was also 5 star read for me.
For some reason Dawn of Onyx wasn’t marked as read in Goodreads and Kindle didn’t show I had bought or borrowed it. So I read it. I had no idea that I had read it until the last couple of chapters. I’m not sure what this says about me. But I am reading the second book now. A beautifully written romantic fantasy book is Daughter of the Moon Goddess by Sue Lynn Tan.
I don't love onyx storm 😩 How can we get an 11 page spicy scene but the most important part of the book is wrapped up in a few pages 😂 I also didn't like the amount of new characters introduced with not much context. Also agree about the middle of the book! There is ALOT of foreshadowing for the end of the book at the start of the book so I wasn't surprised. I'll definitely still read book 4 though!
I know you probably know about James Patterson. He's been around forever. I'm almost 40, and when I was 20, maybe I read The Jester and omg. I have never gotten so invested in a book before. Js, if you like, maybe check him out. I am not a reader because if it doesn't grab me from the beginning, I just can't read it, or that's how I used to be. I haven't read in a while, but I just wanted to recommend that to you.
For all three of the Empyrean books I felt like the writing wasn’t good, the plot was messy, and the magic system wasn’t fleshed out, and there were definitely some juvenile one liners, BUT boy did I have a good time. For me, the series falls under the Junk Food category of books. Not good, but I love it.
Totally agree. I read Fourth Wing and it gave me Divergent, Harry Potter, Game of Thrones vibes but nothing original. Even the mind connection element and “mate” has been done so many times before. Really don’t get the hype, unless you are a new reader, with this series.
I wonder if you might like their paranormal romance series Experiments in Terror by Karina Halle. I read the series years ago and really liked it. I still think of certain scenes and quotes today. The smut is just right in my opinion.
I loved fourth wing i was meh with iron flame and onyx storm was just idk 😅 these books are not written well the pacing was so insane. I'm invested so I will continue the series but I keep thinking wow this writing is terrible lol
The Coven was awful & I don’t mind just smut. The ending?! Say whut. I have The Cursed but have yet to pick it up. I DNF’d Iron Flame so I don’t know if I’ll make it to Onyx Storm but I am trying to listen to IF on audiobook so maybe that will be better.

The end of Onyx Storm pissed me off 🙈 But I LOVE Andarna and Tairn relationship in this one and we must not forget Ridoc 🤣
I've been checking out TH-cam for a new video of yours , I was already missing your books content

Your bookshelf looks amazing 😍❤️

Thank you for introducing me to a new reading genre. I'm currently reading the "Throne of Glass" series. What a fun and engrossing read.
I'm also half way through the throne of glass and each book is better than the last
@ good to hear. Thanks for letting us all know!
I’m super sick right now and have been waaaiting for a book video, so excited 🤗
Love hearing your thoughts!
Your bookish content has been a wonderful complement to your other work and such a treat!

I cannot wait to hear your opinion about The games that gods play. I saw it in one of your videos ans I bought it. It is sooo much fun.
Hi Angie, I’ve been taking my time reading OS because I know the 4th book won’t be out for another year or two. I actually read 12 books in January ❤❤
Divine Rivals is my favorite book
I liked onyx storm the most out of the 3 as i thought it had rhe best humour and the side characters were really able to shine!

CLICKED SO FAST!! now i will actually enjoy my treadmill time!!!

Im so glad Onyx Storm is good. I loved Fourth Wing but Iron Flame was, to me, too long and repetitive.
