The UN Climate Change Conference (COP 26) in Glasgow, United Kingdom is a crucial opportunity to achieve pivotal, transformational change in global climate policy and action. It is a credibility test for global efforts to address climate change and it is where Parties must make considerable progress to reach consensus on issues they have been discussing for several years. COP 26 comes against the background of widespread, rapid and intensifying climate change impacts, which are already impacting every region on Earth. Also, COP 26 comes against the background of the COVID-19 pandemic, with the urgent need to build back better for present future generations to ensure a safe future.
The UNFCCC secretariat (UN Climate Change) is the United Nations entity tasked with supporting the global response to the threat of climate change. UNFCCC stands for United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change. The Convention has near universal membership (197 Parties) and is the parent treaty of the 2015 Paris Agreement. The main aim of the Paris Agreement is to keep the global average temperature rise this century as close as possible to 1.5 degrees Celsius above pre-industrial levels. The UNFCCC is also the parent treaty of the 1997 Kyoto Protocol. The ultimate objective of all three agreements under the UNFCCC is to stabilize greenhouse gas concentrations in the atmosphere at a level that will prevent dangerous human interference with the climate system, in a time frame which allows ecosystems to adapt naturally and enables sustainable development.

Thank you Kevin Keane for articulating the imbalance of fossil-fuel lobbyists present at this conference.

These reports also talks about 20% chance of 1,5C on one year before 2025 and many after that... And saying tipping points are not included (where Amazon rainforest and arctic tundra has most likely already tipped to carbon sources), specially forests carbon absorption is in peril. And military emissions are not included. Reports also says it is extremely hard to stay below 1,5C and we will likely overshoot even 2,0C (These are IPCC's predictions, that are not including some key elements). And land is drying extremely fast adding its own emissions. Reports also says forests are not the thing that may absorb enough carbon from atmosphere.
And there's still no moratorium to coal burning or any other fossil fuel burning. If there is a real will, then all fossil burning should have an ending date by 2050.
30% off from methane is nice, but not nearly enough. Stopping forest turning to something else is pretty neat target, but no legally binding agreements. Forests with clear cuts making emissions from used wood and from land itself is just bad idea that is still going on with these wishes. And forests should be grown so each country has a minimum 30% forest cover. 100 billion$ is nice, should have been given 5 years in a row now. And that's just for poor countries, then we should add 100 trillion$ to make all countries carbon free or even carbon negative by 2050.
There is no magic negative emissions maker in this world. Relying only on this is just crazy. We will likely overshoot to 3,0C temperatures even with these COP26 illusions.
Yea, go Greta! This is still a BLA BLA BLA conference.

I came into this world just as everyone else.
Now!It is that people do things to be heard and seen,Image driven, false sense of belonging,Look at the human race, not colour nor ethnicities, the human race,Our struggles are different yet similar,The playing field isn't even, was it ever? We collectively are lost, self destroying our race.
It's time to live in Harmony with Creation,It has all our needs, Probably that's the thing, we've turned to wants, serving our every desirous thoughts,When will we the human race start to be that change, don't wait for the other generation,Just Do it,(NIKE) Yes their has to be verbal communication, but what actually gets things done?Actions,So!All of us have our part the play,All are guilty, though minut, It's damaging,eg;cars, plactic bags, etc; Stop the long talk and get to work and stop studying $$ loses.

Yea, talking like this: We don't represent our own ideas and anything that we want to give out to the public...
Stop making excuses and stay in the facts that you are making. You WANT to make these things, but still in negotiations you are not doing so.
