I'm just happy that in this simulation in 100 years AFC Bournemouth managed to get a championship spot and for once finish on a positive gold difference.
I think FM needs to have a population factor for each club because if you look at historically successful clubs, all of them have a significant population around the club. But in these simulations it seems that is never really factored in, I think it's fun seeing such ridiculously small clubs in the Premier League or even some winning European titles but having looked at football of the prior century, you tend to see a correlation between a clubs success and the population of the club's locality.
Generally you draw more fans the better the team becomes. Look at the buses that leave London that are city and United fans. Fans coming from Ireland and Northern Ireland to watch the old firm. Same in Germany with Munich the area population isn't thst important
One problem FM always had was that some clubs (mainly PSG and Man City before) had their sugar daddies hardcoded in their game. So their financials are always incredible. And in most cases that shows in the league table too.
@@cazter901 I haven't checked Newcastle yet, but the reason i know City and PSG have had theirs hard coded is because if you remove sugar daddies for all clubs in the editor, they where the only two clubs who kept their sugar daddies.
Wow, that's actually quite refreshing. I feel like in vids like this you never see Bolton regaining the status that they've had for most of the last 150 years, i.e. solid top flight, never winners, but picking up the odd cup. Maybe Miles has decided not to be so pessimistic about us now?
One of the Europe League finals was held at Bridgend Community Stadium in Wales. Would be interested to know who plays there and their reputation to build a stadium worthy of a European final
tom, you should do a twitch stream on this save that is just dedicated to checing the stats of the 4 english leagues every season for 100 seasons. I'd love that
As the same clubs keep winning, Id love to see a save where you punish the winners, in the top 5 leagues reverse the prize money so the bottom get more than the top, if a team wins a competition they lose their best player on a free for each one won, 2 if its the league or champions league, and qualifying for the champions league costs you your best player to, plus a manager get sacked if he wins a trophy, be interesting to see if Man City can keep winning losing their manager and 3 or 4 players a season and if the lower clubs getting more money evens the playing field
Yet again there is a "David Beckham Arena" in FM that hosts a European Cup Final. You didn't click on it and look if any clubs used it, or if you could see any other fun things (is it a new national stadium for England maybe?) This time the stadium is in Brighton, not Leeds though!
It seems to be a recurring thing in FM. In England new stadiums are built named after famous retired players but are never allocated to a team, just hold the occasional European final
just seeing this now and cannot believe you didnt notice hte 'david beckham arena brighton' 13:48 the final of 2123/24 uefa league - Id love to know that story, but also 2108/09 was in the Ally Mccoist Park.... We may have only made it up one division to the national league north, but Tamworth weren’t there and neither were Leamington. That is what I call an xtraordinary double u.
The biggest thing for me in the league titles is the really low goal differences in a lot of leagues. Teams winning leagues with just a +5 goal difference? What happened there? I'd wager scoring is right down across most leagues
Ipswich in 21st is insane, whats even worse is Sheffield Wednesday are 7th. SEVENTH. their winless in their opening matches or have one 1 i cant remember their owner has pulled funding from the club also
so what ive heard happens is that EA just reuse player stats so what probably happens with some of these teams is they get lucky and scout someone with Haalands stats or Mbappe stats
