The comeback in the 3rd game proved that bayo's disadvantage state is often underestimated.

I still don’t understand why 99% of the people in the smash community can’t realize a character like Bayo is actually good unless someone has a crazy performance like Lima did here.
Sdi is just a polarizing mechanic like that. Pikachu gets a *somewhat* similar treatment by the community. I think it makes sense that opinions can become mixed when the counterplay comes down to mere frames. This set was rad.
Bayo players are such spoiled brats in particular saying their privilege char isn’t good and needs buffs

@@janswhatsupdoc Speaking truth is definitely fuel to the fire I agree, but idc. This MU is -1 for bayo, she cannot combo G&W efficiently because he always breaks free with his broken UP-B. She literally can't approach him until starts jumping in the air throwing f-airs, and he is the ONLY character who can efficiently edgeguard and ledgetrap her. NOBODY else in the roster can. Not even steve can COME close to giving Bayo a tough recovery. He is also able to juggle her a lot because of her huge size and hurtbox. The only thing that bayo can exploit is his predictable gameplay which she can witch time like Lima did several times throughout this set, and his awful lightweight benefits her since she can kill him easily when she actually has trouble killing other characters safely, especially heavyweights. Lima putting up a fight like this and making Miya scared in that final game just means Lima is better via skill. Miya is a talented player and I've been a fan of him for over a year now, but he is carried in this MU.
On top of that, I'm a bayo main and I've fought countless G&Ws to know the MU well. It's not easy for Bayo, more easy for G&W.

also saying that Miya isn't carried because he plays a low top tier is such a weird way to think about it. bro has a frame 3 and invincible up-b and an automatic ledgeguard option. even if G&W never had any of that, his gameplan still promotes mashing. see game 1 between Miya and Muteace and you can see how hard miya was mashing.
