      If she was in other African countries, they would have catered to her and practiced their English. These South Africans have grown tired of the Whites, that's all. Until the rest of Africa catches up, they have a long way to go. But with this ever worsening economic situation of these African countries and with no financial relief coming in from the West or East, Africa will be forced to become self reliant. Once that happens, the people will revert back to their pre-colonial mindset of providing for themselves with what's on the African soil and stop looking to outsiders. The Education System will revert to being African again as the outside influence dies away, the books will get interpreted and rewritten in tribal languages. The people are waking up. They don't see any usefulness of accepting foreign overlordships without any financial benefits. The IMF, World Bank, Federal Reserve, Bank of England, Banque de France, People's Bank of China, Arab Bank, etc are ALL bankrupt and are calling in loans. Africa can't borrow money and can't pay back loans. These African governments are bankrupt and can't squeeze more taxes from their poor people who are facing high inflation. Things are really bad behind closed doors. These governments are in fear of collapsing. Once they collapse the People will find ways to self govern and meet their needs. Things will become localized again and slowly people will move away from foreign influences unless it has to do with mutual technological advancement and trade. In ancient times different people/races traded with each other without colonialism/imperialism/racism. The world will return to that.

      Not me. I speak, read, and write my tribal language of Oluganda from Uganda. But I have heard that some Africans send their children to international schools in Africa, those schools only teach and speak English. So those African children end up not learning their tribal languages, and it doesn't help that their African parents speak with them in English at home for practice. Usually only the rich and the well-off can afford to pay those high school fees of international schools. And some Africans use their command of English as a flex, a status. You see them all the time on TH-cam and they don't bother to add their tribal language subtitles to their videos. Even this channel is guilty of that, she is speaking in English all while she pretends to promote African languages. Okay, where is her tribal language subtitle in her videos to prove that she actually promotes the written word in her tribal language?! Nowhere to be found, she can't be bothered! Her command of the English language is what drives and promotes her channel. She is a hypocrite!

    • @YouStillNeedToSleep
      @YouStillNeedToSleep 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      What you should understand is that when you are learning a language in a book you also need to practice conversation in that language with human beings. In African countries it is not easy for them kids travel to Britain or France just to practice a language. Therefore the tracher makes the kids speak English and French at school. The school environment becomes something similar to a European country where they are all speaking one language. From teaching standpoint it helps the students to practice and to improve. If you don't like it, then start developing African languages to the point of translating all chemistry books, ecomics books, math books, etc into native languages. The thing is Africans don't want to take that step. They want is already done by their colonizers and just copy

      Let me correct you. It is the African governments who do not want to or are too lazy to translate the education system to tribal languages. They love to oppress Africans, in case you haven't noticed. They deliberately leave funds in America and Europe, funds that are meant to develop Africa so they can claim "poverty" as an excuse for not providing services to the Africans. If they allow a small percentage of that money out it immediately gets contracted to the international corporations, it never goes directly into the developmental African projects. They gate keep African money and natural resources. That's why Africa is a rich continent living in poverty. On top of that the government steals (corruption) taxes and that money falls into the private hands of individuals. This explains the source of the ultra-rich people in government or in proxy of the government.
      These African governments use English or French to intimidate, confuse, and subjugate/oppress the Africans. Trust me when I tell you that the translation of the books is an easy task. Some words could be left in English, French, or scientific for a time being while new tribal words are getting coined/invented. It is not that hard.
      But the African governments don't want to because the translations will EXPOSE the low quality of education they provide to their people. All of a sudden the children who were failing classes will notice how easy it is to understand those classes in native languages. The education system will lose its mystic! Education has been a flex for too long.
