Perhaps your date of Mahabharat and Ramayan both are very imprecise. Ramayan happened in Treta-yuga which was atleast before 871000 years ago. Because kaliyug started 5000 years ago and the span of Dwapar yuga is 864000 years. Therefore when we add Them both it's understandable that Ramayan should be atleast dated back to 882000 BCE or (+/-) some thousand years. Therefore Mahabharat states that one should not try to understand matters which are inconceivable by mundane material arguments, because such arguments results in either wrong conclusion or no conclusion. Therefore it's better to simply accept the Scriptural authority as of Mahabharat and Ramayan.

If not then what is the value of his rascal research. It's just a number, just a useless memory. It's Self evident that Mahabharata happened 5000 (+/- some years ) ago and Ramayan atleast before 871000 years ago because it was Treta-yuga. Does Mr. Oak explain these inconsistencies: Assume: Mahabharata war started in Margashirsha 5561 BCE and Bhishma Nirvana happened on or after January 31st 5560 BCE, January 31st 5560 BCE falls in Chaitra Shukla Paksha because Pornima immediately after this date when moon is closer to Chitra Nakshatra. It means: Either (a) Bhishma Nirvana happened in Chaitra month, or (b) Bhishma Nirvana happened in Phalgun month, assuming there was adhik masa (and assuming some adhik masa calculation tradition at that time different from today) between the start of war and Bhishma Nirvana. This means Mahabharata text in Geeta Press, Critical Edition, Southern Recension are all corrupted! Because they all mention Bhishma Nirvana happening in Magh Shukla Paksha. So you have to either believe that Bhishma Nirvana day in all these recessions are wrong, or Year 5561 BCE is wrong. If A prominent Bhishma Nirvana date which is still in observation is wrong, Geeta Jayanti observed date is also apparently not matching with Oak hypothesis then what other dates can be trusted? Also Jupiter and Saturn which are mentioned to be near Vishakha in two places in Mahabharata war year (Anushasana Parva and Bhishma Parva) do not match year 5561 BCE. If we can’t place such planets - prominent and slow moving therefore easy to observe their location- in Vishakha Nakshatra in 5561 BCE (they are not hard to observe like Mercury) How can we then accept the revised definition of Vakra? Further we need to accept the “star evidence” of Arundhati walking in front of Vasishtha, when Arundhati was already walking ahead of Vasishtha for some 5000 years and accept it did not become normal and people suddenly got alarmed that star or Arundhati is going ahead of Star of Vasishtha in 5561 BCE? 🤔
