the theme song to the Demons of Razgriz from Ace Combat 5. I'm not a big fan or orchestral music but this song is amazing and epic plus its from one of my favorite videogames!

That final battle in Ace Combat 5... One of the hardest I had to do with the Warthog. I did it though...Chopper, I hope you hear that we won man. We did it.
yeah, the three main planes i used were the f-22 raptor(once unlocked since it is unlocked somewhat late in the game), s-117 stealth fighter, and the a-10 warthog since each were good for certain situations, i remember using the warthog on that one mission where if you flew low, soldiers in the jungle below fired rockets at ya, the minigun on the hog was good for killen em, not to mention the special onit was good for mission with alot of ground vehicles, especially tanks.
I can't believe it, nearly a decade after playing the game, I still come back to this video, pull out my PS-2 and play the game from Shore Birds to SOLG. This game, this work of art, is almost entirely my childhood, it's my call sign on every game and account I have, it's almost like this game is apart of me now. From bartletts capture, to the loss of chopper, even the battle against the greymen and the 8492nd squadron, still can't fully grasp this game. Not even gonna get into playing zero and four with my cousin in Chicago, like, damn. Project Aces and Namco, you guys did a fucking hell of a job.
it's a masterpiece is what it is. You know when a game, the story of it, captivates so many, that they did something right. The only reason I still own a Ps2 (that's collecting dust) is THIS game.
It really is one of those classic games that never gets old does it? They should remaster it for the PS4. Dont change the story or the gameplay at all, but make it FUCKING BEAUTIFUL.
Silentiumn Peromen Perhaps musically, but Ace Combat really is a different beast. Halo is about the raw power of a super soldier as humanity's last hope in a losing battle, and later using this raw power to save the entire galaxy - and the music reflects this. Ace Combat's story is simply that of a few pilots clinging to the last vestiges of survival in bleak and usually secondary conflicts, accidentally bestowed glory in wars they never wanted to fight - but know they have to. The music teeters between victorious major keys and unsure minor keys, just like every likable character in Ace Combat, whereas Halo is always a sweeping score with ridiculous scale. Both cool, but as a Halo fan, I have to say Ace Combat has some of my favorite pieces of music. :D
Well I agree with you on that its just that I've always been an FPS player, I mean when everyone spent there childhood on Super Smash bros or games like that I was playing Medal of Honor Frontline. And speaking of halo, Halo Guardians is looking like its going to be pretty dark... I'm so excited for it because of that, I love games where they have a depressing doomed atmosphere which is why I love DarkSouls
Silentiumn Peromen Oh man, games like Dark Souls are the reason video games exist. And yeah, when I was a kid I got a PS2 to play MoH over a Nintendo console. I don't think I've ever played Super Mario in my life. Have you played Shadow of the Colossus? It's another PS2 exclusive with a godlike OST and a pretty vividly dark, contemplative and nearly dreamlike atmosphere. One of my favorites.
No I have not, it wasn't until I got an Xbox 360 that i really branched out into other games or got into the gaming hype. The order I have gotten my consoles are: GameCube PS2, Xbox 360, Wii, PS3, Gaming PC, Xbox One, PS4. and I only ever had 8 games for the PS2 (Compared to the 42 I have for the 360) I'll pretty much play anything though provided its not a sports or Car/MX/ATV game.
I'll never experience the feelings 11 year old me had when I played this game ever again. It's almost a crippling feeling to reflect upon. We must never forget the sacrifice that was Lt. Col. Alvin H. Davenport.

I STILL remember playing this game, and the gameplay was amazing, but almost secondary to the plot and the characters. I don't think to this date I have been as emotionally involved in a game composed entirely of vehicular combat. Spoiler I love the fact that the image for the Soundtrack here pays respect to the pilots. 3 flying on while one pulls away into the sunset.
When I'm feeling down or sad, I come to this video, have a good cry remembering all the amazing moments of this game, and then I feel better: when Bartlett gets shot down, when you defend the ships in the port, when you defend Sand Island, when my boi Chopper die, when you get accused of being a spy, when you come back as Razgriz... Man I love this game
I am going to blast this at full volume on the day I receive my pilot's license. It's my life's work, and I'm so close already. I can think of nothing better for such triumph!
This didn't come from a game soundtrack, it came from a legendary masterpiece that will always have a home in my heart. When I played this game, I don't even know how long ago, I was too young to comprehend the story back then, I only just recently got it. But when you don't even understand the story and the last level has you crying and screaming vengeance for you're fallen allies, than you've done one hell of a job. I remember as I sent the last missiles into the SOLG (because with 99 heat seeking rockets I never used the machine guns), I remember the things I said were "This is for the fallen, this is for the Kestral, and this one, IS FOR CHOPPER!" This masterpiece will never be forgotten.
I praise Namco for creating one of the best and epic franchises ever! Ace Combat is a insperation for those who love the skies, and dreams to become a pilot of the Air Force!
"I honestly was about to raguequit this game about 30 times. I have aspergers syndrome that makes for me very awkward to coordinate moves. And i just couldnt get a lot of maneuvers right. My wrists were sore, absurdly a lot even when i was just playing in an emulator. I was furious, and the music just made it frustating, more when this was decisive(a fallen satellite could kill al humanity) . Finally pulling a last strike throught that fucking megastructure and saving Oured and the whole world was a major feeling of accomplishment. No Joke"
HELP US IT'S THE RAZGRIZ!----- Soon to be be dead enemy pilot I for one wouldn't be opposed for AC- 4-5-6-0 getting a makeover for new consoles and PC. Great games.
I just Finished AC0, AC4, and AC5. Cause I don't have PS2 so I played it in Emulator. When the Final Mission "Unsung War" and this song played. My Whole body shivered. Man AC5 took me so long to finish and it was Worth It!

The Razgriz. The Demons of the Sky. A group of 4 fighter pilots with legendary abilities and countless ways to dogfight. While they were demons in the sky they were your average person in the ground. RIP Chopper I salute you brother may you be the demon that you always wanted to be
+asdfa asdfadfa Don't know how I missed that announcement until just yesterday...but yes all the HYPE, but loved the trailer using the main melody of Razgriz done on a piano...which was just gorgeous...safe to say, buying a PS4 now
Ac7 is crap compared to ac5. Story is not as engaging, characters are forgetable, music struggles to be epic falling short of being bland and the gameplay is often frustrating. The only saving grace is that the game is pretty. Very pretty.
Billaxle I have found a new best friend. Valkyria Chronicles and Ace combat are tied at having the best OSTs out of any game I've ever played, though I like ace combats SLIGHTLY more because I love air combat, be it learning the history of it or playing a game.
jim volkert Did you see Game Theory's new video about Starfox? It has a link in the description and annotations where MatPat gets to fly a real jet and do aerial maneuvers!
I have played this game for the first time 4 days ago...and i finished the campain...Just Wow. I'm happy that i recover this awsome game. Is something of special. More people *MUST* play Ace Combat.
What i thought was interesting, but i didnt realize it until i did it a second time, was when i used my Razgriz colored F-14D on the last mission on Ace Combat 6, I was fighting the chandelier in the North Sea, and Razgriz is the demon of the North Sea.
+EXABYTE I hoped on the fan wagan at AC4 but never got the chance to play AC5 and I hate my self for it, But I did play AC6 that one is my fav so far so I can't wait to see what they do with AC7!
Well, he wasn't a boy when he was telling the story in AC4, don't forget, in the end we find out he's an adult and that the story he told was his recolection of the Erusian War when he wrote to Mobius 1 in a letter.
Ulyssesowen I don't think he was old enough. Remember, if he was 11 during the Erusian war, he's be around 16 during the Circum-Pacific war in 2010. Blaze has to be someone else. And why would a kid from San Salvalcion want to join the Osean air force anyway?
Oh man... I ended up cursing when a piece of debris nearly clipped me on the nose as I was firing. I swear, an absolute lucky hit! Slipped in between the rotation at the right moment to clear the mission.
2023 and is my best memory of my good old times... Salute for Lieutenant Colonel Alvin H. Davenport (Callsign Chopper)!!! Salute The Demons of Razgriz!!!!
I only know one ace pilot whom I admire so much, and that is Brigadier-General Giora Epstein from the Israeli Air Force and he is a legend in his own right for scoring 17 victories in spite of a heart condition and how he explained those adventures in Dogfights in History Channel, made me admire him more. He's still alive and well today. May you guide them brave Ukrainians in battle, especially to the Ghost of Kyiv whose identity is yet to be proven. If he is indeed real, he would make a great apprentice to you. 🇺🇦
To the "Ghost of Kyiv", the Ukrainian Ace, giving the Russians a real demon to fear right now... I hope this song becomes an Anthem for you. Become the Angel of Ukraine, and the Demon Russia needs to fear. Godspeed

Razgriz revelat ipsum:

Deinde moritur.
Cum somnus finit,

When history witnesses a great change Razgriz reveals itself-first,
as a dark demon.
As a demon, it uses its power to rain death upon the land, and then it dies.
However, after a period of slumber,
Razgriz returns-
This time, as a great hero.
Thanks

That would be the most epic team up in ace combat history
GHOST OF KYIV
No Joke"
I don't care what the title says, for me this is Pat vs Woolie theme.
Oh my god you're totally right.
What in the fuck are you talking about?
RampantFury925
DIVEKICK!!!
Evil Ryu Divekick, the only kick.
HELP US IT'S THE RAZGRIZ!----- Soon to be be dead enemy pilot
I for one wouldn't be opposed for AC- 4-5-6-0 getting a makeover for new consoles and PC. Great games.
Heck AC:04 is hitting 20 next year and AC5 is 19 I think
Thanks for all the blown speakers.
I just Finished AC0, AC4, and AC5.
Cause I don't have PS2 so I played it in Emulator. When the Final Mission "Unsung War" and this song played. My Whole body shivered. Man AC5 took me so long to finish and it was Worth It!
SOLG is 60 miles from Oured!
Hurry up!
Edoardo De Cesaris SOLG is 20 miles from Oured!
:) I love Ace combat games.
Edoardo De Cesaris Don't get done in by the solar panels!
Thel 'Vadam I'm glad that mission makes a returning appearance in Ace Combat Infinity. It's a really fun special raid mission.
"For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth."
rain down the lords judgement from heavens Ghost of Kyiv!
I like this. It's so... operatic, like all you need to do is take a step to become part of something huge...
When a EPIC theme song, LITERALLY brings tears to my eyes, every time I listen(being I now, 'get' the lyrics).
I made a mock-up of the Razgriz emblem as my emblem in MGS V
+Sven Rudolf My BF4 emblem is also a mock up of razgriz
thats awesome!!! how?
if I may ask, what is MSG5?
+Nico Ferguson sorry, mgs5
Nico Ferguson
metal gear solid 5. Decent game, story is rough towards the end but still fun
long live the Aces of Razgriz!
Man, always gunna remember those words from the entry video to that game, right before Puddle Of Mudd kicks in =D. Absolutely brilliant.
The Razgriz. The Demons of the Sky. A group of 4 fighter pilots with legendary abilities and countless ways to dogfight. While they were demons in the sky they were your average person in the ground. RIP Chopper I salute you brother may you be the demon that you always wanted to be
ACE COMBAT 7 ANNOUNCED BOYS
GET HYPE
+asdfa asdfadfa Don't know how I missed that announcement until just yesterday...but yes all the HYPE, but loved the trailer using the main melody of Razgriz done on a piano...which was just gorgeous...safe to say, buying a PS4 now
The game is already out!
Ac7 is crap compared to ac5. Story is not as engaging, characters are forgetable, music struggles to be epic falling short of being bland and the gameplay is often frustrating. The only saving grace is that the game is pretty. Very pretty.
In my mind, this is the theme of the Razgriz AND Squad 7 of Valkyria Chronicles.
A.K.A: "THE VALKYRUR OF RAZGRIZ~!" ;]
Billaxle I have found a new best friend.
Valkyria Chronicles and Ace combat are tied at having the best OSTs out of any game I've ever played, though I like ace combats SLIGHTLY more because I love air combat, be it learning the history of it or playing a game.
jim volkert Did you see Game Theory's new video about Starfox? It has a link in the description and annotations where MatPat gets to fly a real jet and do aerial maneuvers!
Billaxle no I did not. One moment please lol
I have played this game for the first time 4 days ago...and i finished the campain...Just Wow.
I'm happy that i recover this awsome game.
Is something of special.
More people *MUST* play Ace Combat.
"You now Captain? my birthday is coming next week"
Don't want to ever be a belkan or a Yuk when the skies start speaking Latin.
Or Eursian either.
Yuktobanian and proud to have flown alongside Razgriz in the final battle against the Belkan Conspirators.
Leseath too
GHOST OF KIEV
What i thought was interesting, but i didnt realize it until i did it a second time, was when i used my Razgriz colored F-14D on the last mission on Ace Combat 6, I was fighting the chandelier in the North Sea, and Razgriz is the demon of the North Sea.
this game was heart felt man
almost made me cry half the time
ACE COMBAT 7!
YESS BRO
I thought fires of liberation and assault horizon legacy were better
all of em are better dude
+Brandon Walker And I think it might be a indirect sequel to ac5!
+EXABYTE I hoped on the fan wagan at AC4 but never got the chance to play AC5 and I hate my self for it, But I did play AC6 that one is my fav so far so I can't wait to see what they do with AC7!

The best ace combat ever made
Que nostalgia hein meu amigo...
Paying my respects to the Ghost of Kyiv.
YEASS SAME
he was one of the best wingman a pilot could ask for. Thunderhead and chopper would always go back and fouth over radio too
with blaze from razgriz squadron leading, hot daaaaammmn~ gonna have a great dream tonight. thanks bro for giving me an idea~!!!
The legend lives on. Godspeed and happy hunting Ghost of Kyiv!
Bruh i though the same thing!
Same here RAZGRIZ is real
Except the only similarity between the two is that they are both computer generated graphics.
Both are imaginary I guess 🤣🤣🤣
God speed Samuyil Hyde
Blaze = Storyteller Boy from AC4, at least, that's what I like to think of as my canon.
Well, he wasn't a boy when he was telling the story in AC4, don't forget, in the end we find out he's an adult and that the story he told was his recolection of the Erusian War when he wrote to Mobius 1 in a letter.
DrSurprise
All the more reason for me to suspect that he grew up, and became something greater. He had to know what Yellow 13 felt up in those skies.
Ulyssesowen I don't think he was old enough. Remember, if he was 11 during the Erusian war, he's be around 16 during the Circum-Pacific war in 2010. Blaze has to be someone else. And why would a kid from San Salvalcion want to join the Osean air force anyway?
+deathrooster14 Him being '11' is suspicion only. He seemed more like 4 to 7. But I know you're just trying to make a point.
+Ulyssesowen indeed
I get chills everytime I listen to this. This is hands down my favorite theme out of anything.
Goddamn this game is fun. Every now and then I still break out the old PS2 and play a few missions.
the Ghost of Kyiv rides the skies!!! FORZA!!!
First time I beat this mission.
AWACS: The Solg is 60 miles from Oured!
Me: Not for long pal!!!
*last missile hits target*
Mission complete
Oh man... I ended up cursing when a piece of debris nearly clipped me on the nose as I was firing. I swear, an absolute lucky hit! Slipped in between the rotation at the right moment to clear the mission.
"What is this!?!? They are manuvering even better than before!"
"Is this the true power of the razgriz?!?"
apparently, there were 14 pilots in the Ofnir/Grabacr double squadron that day, instead of just 8
Best theme music to video game EVER and best storyline of almost any game I've played. This game is the only reason I still have my PS2
dedicated to the ghost of kiyv
Well look who it is. The pig slaying bastard himself.
This goes out to the Ghost of Kyiv. God speed ghost and give them hell
wasn't real
@@thesmirkingwolf don't give a shit bud real or not
@@thesmirkingwolf thank you for your expert analysis while your on the ground in Ukraine
SLAVA Ukraini
I want to believe. Slava, Ghost of Kyiv! 🔥🇺🇦
Slava Ukraini, heroyam slava!
I'm in love. Thank God people make music like this.
The broken angel, three have clipped there wings to fall with you.
We will rise again.
Razgriz.
Is our PHOENIX.
To the "Ghost of Kyiv", the Ukrainian Ace, giving the Russians a real demon to fear right now... I hope this song becomes an Anthem for you.
Become the Angel of Ukraine, and the Demon Russia needs to fear. Godspeed
When the Russian pilot hear this theme, they know they're fucked
"There's one thing I can say for certain; heroes really do exist, we've just seen one. Ghost of Kyiv, I pray for your success."
too bad it was just propaganda
@Louis Ruiz Then they are living a lie. They were before as well.
@Louis Ruiz I don't support the Russian government either you dunce. They are being subjected to the very same thing by their own government. I don't support the governments of either side and I sympathize with the citizens subjected by each.
