TRANSFORMERS “BALDIGUS” KO Combination of Warriors Review

- Transformers gave us Bruticus, the G1 Combaticon combiner with lots of fighting spirit. Several repaints later and that mold gave us the Decepticon Commandos in 2001’s Robot in Disguise (and the Anti-Cybertrons in 2000’s Car Robots) who formed Baldigus (Ruination). But this popular mold was also the basis of many knock-offs. In this video, Captain Kyle reviews the latest cheap KO of Baldigus and compares it to a KO from the early 2000’s.
The Car Robots line had some exciting new molds but also gave us reuses of previous molds. Many of the Predacons, Scourge (Black Convoy), and the Decepticon Commandos came from earlier lines. Baldigus, who was formed from Dolrailer (Mega-Octane), Dangar (Armorhide), Greejeeber (Rollbar), Hepter (Ro-Tor), and Shuttler (Movor) was a repaint and slight retooling of the Combaticons who formed Bruticus. This is a knock-off of the original Car Robots version of the Decepticon Commandos. Captain Kyle examines it and compares it to a KO made in the early 2000s.

The original KO is not available currently, but it is worth hunting for.

Drill a small hole with a pin vice on each plastic end where the brawl head came off. Cut a paper clip piece that properly fits the holes. Then take it off with some pilers after you tested it. Fill the holes with some crazy glue then reattach the paperclip piece then let it dry.
I haven't seen one of those in years! I miss them. I love knock offs

I remember bootleg toys from china have similar box when i was in high school in the early 2000s, i get ninja storm meegazord with the same box back then

Surprisingly complete and in good shape. Anytime I would post pictures of the guy i would have some people say it was a bootleg due to his weird orange and sand camo lol
Honestly miss when you could come across bootlegs like this at like Biglots back in the 2000s
Wish they had a KO of Battle Gaia even if cheap. I was hoping for a Combiner Wars version that never happened.
Got this ..the aerialbots and constructicons for $20 each at Walgreens years ago i keep devastator and superion in combined mode can't tell the difference
*Often the Real benefit of buying these KOs:* Replacing missing parts for your original guys.

My KO version broke within seconds of getting out of the package, was a very interesting experience.

Hmm. I have the Ruination version with the blue camo tank...and I remember you used to be able to get a boxed set with the entire team in blue camo.
I don't recall an official Transformer Ruination in blue camo. Just orange and artic. Interesting.
@@ToySpotlite It was quite a while back, and may noy have been official, I don't know anymore. I may even be wrong about the color.
I have this Quick Change set! I also have the original Hasbro Bruticus limb "limb bots" and Ruination Mega-Octane, and the K.O. attachments (fists, feet etc.) fit perfectly!
The biggest failure of the k.o. is the lag of articulation in Mega-Octanes arms, so Ruination losses his V-taper!
I have a knock off version of Defensor that if I sneeze near will fall apart
TJOmega did a video the other day checking out KOs that recently got sold on eBay and this was one of the toys that popped up and now I’m extremely curious if Captain Kyle was the buyer.

You can just use their actual English names, trying to hammer in their Japanese names over and over again is just confusing. Mentioning them once is more then enough.
