Great content, you always provide Excellent vids! Your ride is stunning. I am on my 3rd 911s and I am absolutely in love with them… I got the 2024 GTS coupe manual and it’s the very best of all… Porsche has it figure it out…
@@dbond410 appreciate your support! O wow, 3 911! That’s awesome congrats! 🎉 Which generations of 911 did you have, and how much improvement did you feel from generation to generation? Do let us know your thoughts!
@@AlbertandcarsI had a 997.2 C4S PDK for 5 years and sold it in 2022. Recently I had the opportunity to test drove a manual 992 T so I pulled the trigger. 😊
I love the car and the video, however it was not engineered for the track. It still works on one but it is a Targa. It was designed as a fashionable sporty cruiser. Only GT department cars are designed specifically for track. That being said what a beautiful car and all the memories you have made.
Thanks for your reply! I agree with you by some extent. I think all Porsche 911 are made to be on track, and the GT department is definitely more track focused. And yes I 100% agree with you that the Targa is leaning towards the luxury GT, and I’m glad that’s what I got, as it’s a superb DD car! I definitely want to test drive a GT3 to confirm my thoughts, but until then, the Targa4GTS in manual is the car for me👌🏼
Amazing question! Yes you can definitely drive the Porsche 911 all year round, but for me, it’s more like a fun car to drive in the spring, summer time. If you put winter tires on, it’s an absolute beast! If I live somewhere more remote, near some windy roads, I would definitely be driving my car all year round. The biggest thing is although I trust my driving, I don’t really trust other people’s driving, and it would be an absolute shame if someone bumped into my car. Yes, it might be fixable, but to me, it’s such a nice car, it wouldn’t even dare imagine it getting into an accident or anything like that. We have multiple cars anyways, so I would rather reduce the risk. Just my 2 cents, do you drive your car in the winter? Definitely let us know your thoughts!
@ Yes sir. Everything benefitial comes with costs. For the gts targa money we got a beatiful roof and everything else is not much more than a 718 gt4 or with an also beatiful roof 718 spyder. Par performance wise, i think 911 gts is even worse than those two 718 since the RR layout back swing dynamics in a more complex slalom curve and kept a very very heavy top for the targa machanism. Secondly for the price it is even almost intruding into huracan and 570s level ( at least in UK and Singapore Taiwan, not really studied your market, theUS) So... That's why.
@@SF-zy7pl good info, thanks for sharing! Main plus for me is the looks of Targa4GTS and the manual option, which unfortunately McLarens doesn’t have this option. But definitely a good point of view!
Great video! New 992.1 targa GTS owner here - Arctic grey with GTS interior , PDK - what a beauty !!
991.2 gts owner here. Best car you can buy. Nothing beats a 911 gts. Period.

@Albertandcars yes sir.. I got a 991.2 gts pdk. I added a softronic tune and a jcr titanium exhaust. I'm close to 600 horsepower now
I love my C4S manual! I'm glad you are actually driving your car. Why save it for the next guy? Good for you!
That’s exactly my thoughts!
What color combination is your C4S, and did you add any additional options?
Thanks for your input

Great breakdown.
I just picked up a used 3,500 miles Ice Grey Metallic 992.1 Carrera T. I am planning to daily drive it as well. Thank you for sharing great videos 👍
Good choice and welcome to the Porsche family! I’ve debated on the Carrera T as well, and it’s definitely a great choice!
Enjoy!

Buy manual targa GTS, great resale value - puts 20k miles on it lol
Great content thanks bro
Thinking of selling it? Loving mine
