I love Ive sm. They’re such a vocally strong group as a whole. People complain about least amount of lines, unaware they the least amount is still a lot. As a Once, I wish this was the same way for Twice. Rei is my bias and I feel well fed 🩷
I think new kpop stans are confused? They didn’t get 200m in the first 24 hours, they accumulated it over a few years. Love Dive first 24 hour views was UNDER 14 million. I Am got 17 million. Most groups don’t make it long, so Ive getting 10 mil in first 24 hours in their third year is huge. You’re setting unrealistic expectations

They only sing so vocal lines will automatically goes to them. The other thing is wonyoung is the centre and starship obsiously trying to push her sk they can make her a solo artist in the future so this will also impacts line distribution. Leeseo on the hand got criticism when starship gave her rap lines and sounded worse so they have give her vocal lines even though she is the worst of em all. Rap parts are so small because they are vocal centered group

You know what I mean? Rei has rap parts bc she's main rapper but also need vocal parts bc she's the 3rd best vocalist, the most stable live performer after Liz with Yujin and her falsettos are way better than Wonsoo. Wonyoung and Leeseo are visual line, Wonyoung is center. So when they get the most MV screentime or least edge in choreography we can understand it bc yeah, they need to be stand out, they're visual and Wonyoung is center. But vocal? You saw it in recent lives/encores, they're lost or off-key without in ear monitors and even with them, too much nasal. They don't even have a proper support range, Yujin and Rei at least can support up to G4. SSE has a serious problem of favoritism like many big companies, I've seen it in their other groups too (Sistar, MonstaX etc) Yujin, Wonyoung and Leeseo are favoured by them compared to Gaeul, Rei and Liz. And they didn't hide this from fans either.

Liz always had a lot of lines. Since all of Ive is a vocally strong group, Kitsch (a mere pre release) was a way for other members to have their moment to shine. Baddie and Kitsch don’t really suit Lizs ethereal vocals. It’s nice being able to have a variety of genres and the best way to do so is to let other members sing more in certain songs where their vocals fit :)

Gaeul actually has more than 15 seconds in Rebel Heart, the chorus is hers, the second rap and the second 'Na na na na na', in mr removed you can hear her voice clearly in those parts
