Matt Canavan warns against WHO pandemic treaty

- Nationals Senator Matt Canavan has warned against the World Health Organisation (WHO) pandemic treaty claiming Australia shouldn’t be handing over more rights to international bodies.
“The WHO pretty much got everything wrong about the pandemic,” Mr Canavan told Sky News host Peta Credlin.
“Why would we give this discredited body … more power that’s what’s on the cards here.
“This draft would give the WHO powers to provide advice on these matters, it would still require signatories to impose laws on misinformation in their own countries and we’ve seen how damaging that can be in the last couple of weeks.
“We shouldn’t be handing over more rights to international bodies, our rights should be protected by our constitution and our laws not subcontracted to international bodies especially as discredited as the WHO is.
“Until we have a proper royal commission, we certainly shouldn’t be signing up to a treaty like this that would potentially make things a hell of a lot worse if another pandemic came.”

Absolutely. We are already bound hand and foot by UN agreements and "Treaties". They are the reason why we can't suitably and effectively deal with our revolving door violent youth crime crisis. Australia is a signatory. to the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child which binds any actions we can take (like locking up young offenders) when attempting to deal with this crisis. Little by little and year by year our governments have given away our sovereignty. This is how you take over the world by stealth. When the last agreement or "treaty" has been signed people will awaken to a new Australia .. one that is governed and therefore controlled completely by the UN and international law .. not Australian law! Don't be fooled by the latest "watered down" draft documents.
The new documents have shifted the enforcement of the treaty from the WHO to the signatories.
It clearly states that by signing the agreement, member nations will COMMIT to changing their sovereign laws to enforce directives from the WHO.
The previous draft had member nations giving FULL power to the WHO with penalties' against member nations that did not comply.
All of the socialist nations around the world preferred the original draft as it allowed them to pass the buck back to the WHO if/when their citizens pushed back against forced jabs, lockdowns, and other mandates.
The new draft puts the ball firmly at the feet of sovereign governments to implement and by signing, they agree to amend sovereign laws to facilitate the WHO dictates.
Either way, this power grab by unelected globalist elites should be totally rejected by EVERY country.

Our rights ARE protected by our constitution but no one is quoting it : Section 44 (i) Senators are entrusted to make sure our Commonwealth of Australia constitution is being followed. It only takes one Senator to point this out and the whole road to tyranny stops now.

Senator Canavan, as a member of JSCOT I assume you will be actively taking all efforts to convince other JSCOT members to recommend that the Commonwealth Government does NOT sign up toor endorse this Treaty, or the amendments to the International Health Regulations (IHR). In fact Article 55 of the IHR states that these must be circulated to all member states at least 4 months prior to the WHA vote. The 4 months expired at the end of January 2024, or the WHO are breaking their own rules if a vote takes place at the 77th WHA.

About time you did a story about this. It would of been much more beneficial if you had done this story last year! Everyone should put an objection in to the government to being part of this new treaty & demand our government remove us from the standing WHO treaty, it can be done online or in writing.
