When I got some time with Ashwini ji, she told that she calls this raga as “Prateeksha”. but this raga is also called as popular “Bhupeshwari” And the creator of this raaga is Pt. Maniprasad ji
This is a masterpiece. One of the famous musicians told me once that "sur itnay pakaa hona chaihiyee, kee sur dikhe". Certainly true her. You can see the notes being rendered. Fabulous!
@@GamingHub494 You are right. But These all are names of same Raag. "Bhoopeshwari" took inspiration from "Bhoopali". It has various names across India. Most of "Jaipur -Atrauli Gharana" uses Raag Pratiksha. 🙂🙏
Absolutely correct. Some people call it Bhoopeshwari, Bhoopkali, or komal Bhopali. In Carnatic the closest raag is Prateeksha. The key phrases are SRGPdP PRGRGSd.SR This rendition is very haunting.
I did attend ashwiniji's concert in Washington DC. Being a student of hindustani vocal music, it is a good learning experience to listen to good artists.

@ kapil ragan the first part of the teka of neel thaal looks just like the teka for rupakthal up to tin tin na din na din na is all rupakthal but the last part of the teka for neel taal is kind of rushed or hurried dhindhina to get that half matra? Correct? To make it 7 and half matras? Because rupakthal is 7 matras? Is this the correct way of thinking? Please let me know. Thanks

Only ashwini tai can handle such complicated taals, such as neel taal which is 7 1/2 matras. 🙏🙏🙏
Both these bandishes are composed by Vid. Ashwini Bhide ji herself.
Beautiful Raag. "Ab ke hum Bichhde" (by Gazal Maestro Mehandi Hassan ji) Gazal is also based on same Raag.
Malvun Taak Deep also
I thik that is Raag "Bhupkli" Ab ke ham bichde" mehandi ji saab "

Lovely lovely haunting melody.... this has taken me to different levels. Dhanyavad Ashwini ji!
In the Hindustani style
The second bandish is in theenthal
No it is not. Please check again. Again this is official as printed on the CD label
It is actually 7 and a half matras and called Neel Taal
Sorry my mistake. Neel taal for the Vilambit, Kari Badariya
Neel thaal is the first bandish Kari badariya. Teental is the bandish that starts with the word preetham
is it similar to Bhupeshawri ?
and only difference of Komal dhaivat to bhupali ?
Zuber K Golechha I am not sure, sorry.
Zuber K Golechha bhoopkali, bhoopeshwari nd prateeksha are the names of the same raag!
Zuber K Golechha Bhoopeshwari or Bhoopeshwari is Pratiksha or Vasanti raag frm Karnataka Classical music.Adopted into North Indian Classical style .
J Pantsachiv Thank you

+Aly Alp-Ercelan I am not sure, since it is an unusual raag.
This unique raag does not fir in the Bhatkhande Thaat system.
This is derived from Charukeshi
Bhupeshwari, Bhupkali,

It is madhyalaya Neel Taal, 7 and a half matras
Very good
Ok neel taal and 7 and half matras
The first bandish is in rupak thal
No this is 7 1/2 matras, not Rupak. The last 2 1/2 beats are like Jhaptaal (in dugun)
Neel taal
wht taal it was 8 and half matras drut was teental but the first one?
7 1/2 matras. Tin tin na, dhin na, dhin na dhindhina
priyanka das the first bandish is in neel taal and it is a 7 and half Marta taal
@ kapil ragan the first part of the teka of neel thaal looks just like the teka for rupakthal up to tin tin na din na din na is all rupakthal but the last part of the teka for neel taal is kind of rushed or hurried dhindhina to get that half matra?
