Great videos. I keep looking for the holy grail of HEMTT.. the firefighting M-1142 TFFT. Lots of tankers.. enjoy watching to see if one's on board. Surprised how many M-113 types still in inventory. Thanks for sharing.
Hey man Just got a tip on FB that NS heritage unit 1070 is leaving Saint Paul here in a few minutes and will be here tomorrow at some point Any good places to catch him at? Thanks so much
Wow amazing! All super cool catchs. Love military trains, super great K5LA on that NS 44C6M and cool to see all the other great consists. You are one of the best Railfans in all of KC!
Hey Brother, I have watched many of your vids, but this compilation of military and other trains is excellent, as I have never seen a military train in person or so much equipment? Does this look like new equipment to you?? Do you know where all this equipment is going or why? I imagine to various bases throughout the US?? Thanks again!!
Nice meet! I am glad to see a DPU on the military train(s) - saw one video of a train loaded with Abrams and no DPU - broke 5 knuckles. Very cool stuff!
Sweet catch of all the military trains, I love the one with the EMD DPU it had. Not going to lie but I thought these were all taken recently and I got worried for you guys..somethings going down haha.
Thanks and lol these were of all the ones I saw this year. Wasn't trying to portray anything. I usually do those towards the end of the year for the best of the year catches.
Great outstanding collection of military trains. It's always fun to see what kind of firepower our tax dollars buy. I hauled a lot of that stuff during Desert Storm. Your BNSF shots are the first time I've seen military trains with DPU's. I like it!
Wow incredible catches of these military trains with some meeting with intermodal trains especially those CSX engines leading the crossing bell sounds like it need a update
During Viet Nam war a lot of troop trains running heavyweight and lightweight coach and Pullman bringing east coast and ETO troops to west coast debarkation. So many trains late 60s. Not a lot of armor. Mostly deuce and quarter trucks and artillery some apc’s. I was with the USO but I was a rail fan
4400hp is all it takes to move the Trump train... is what I thought seeing the single unit up front then boom, a dpu. 1st time seeing a military train running with a dpu.
If locomotives had a built in arm, they could wave to each other, as they pass each other. Since the crew hardly waves, this new attachment would really be what's needed, to keep all of us happy and go lucky.
Paul actually a lot of these are just run thru trains since a lot of interchanges happen in KC. There are a few bases here in Kansas but that's it. Like KCS ones went thru here to go to Washington.
It's the trains that move during the late hours into early morn that I'd be interested in seeing. At least these trains are not being shrouded by darkness.
@@KCUnionStationTrains Tanks, soldiers, the need to have all that equipment... Drones can deliver it all! :) Of course, that would come at a cost of not funding all those other cool vehicles and lots of folks would have no jobs. Awesome footage though! Hoping one day all that military crap will be scrap metal! Or better, be made into some more awesome trains!
If you ever doubted America's military capability, then just watch a video of a military train moving a division around, makes you want to think twice.
It is terrible, for Gosh sake, that a modern nation still have to spend loads of money because of a so called "Cold War" and the weapon industry career for dissuasive purposes... Might The Peace of OLJC, that has no explanation, be with US and with our spirits! Might God bless Our whole World with hundreds of years of Peace and nations understanding through the peaceful dialogs. Many thanks for this terrible short documentary films. Best regards from Buenos Aires, Argentina.
NO disrespect intended, but I try to be very careful when shooting a train of military equipment. One NEVER knows WHO might be watching in this high tech age.

Looks like a Engineers unit on first half off train?
Huh?
Where are these tanks going?🤔
Is there a particular reason why so many military trains in KC? Is there a base nearby? I've seen one in Ohio in 15 years.
Paul actually a lot of these are just run thru trains since a lot of interchanges happen in KC. There are a few bases here in Kansas but that's it. Like KCS ones went thru here to go to Washington.
Another thing... The Sibly bridge is just east of KC MO. It's the busiest Missouri River crossing there is.
