My question is did you really have to take the back panel off and the pulleys to remove the water pump?
Its such a crapy disgn Lexus did on their 3.0 or bigger. I started my project removal of the rx300 water pump and spent a whole day and didnt get it out yet. So tomorrow i get back on it and this video really will help keeping my cool when i have to do it in the rain, sucks but I'm not paying a shop 1500,00 to do the same job.

So when I’m going back with the tensioner and i tighten that Allen type bolt it isn’t free. It has the washer on it . What could I be doing wrong? It seems simple to me but i got stuck on the easiest part

Hydraulic Tension Pulley: There is a washer that separates the hydraulic tension pulley and the engine. What will happen if the H.T. pulley is installed without the washer? How does a customer easily confirm if the washer was installed or not installed?

Did you replace the Cam seals? I didnt see that part of the video? Great video, I assume you did this in one day 6hours ?

Murphy Chow Yes in one day, I do replace cam seals, usually do not shoot that part, a little uneasy about showing how to remove them, I do have a special tool kit for properly removing and replacing them I do have a video showing how to use the tool kit.
