Don't get me wrong, an IS-F is what I want but my next car that I will have with me for the years to come (hopefully) until I can get to the IS-F as a young adult is a TL-S. well first i think the tl type s is competing with mid size luxury cars like the BMW 5 series and honda said that they make a 2 door tsx type S in replacment for the rsx. Because the NSX is gone the S2000 is prwtty much dead without support and well yea.

@Toyota4Life LOL the IS-F has stacked exhaust pipes that aren't even bolted to the muffler... Its does 0-60 in 4.8 secs, barely quicker than a 335i, and rides extremely harshly on the normal road. Sorry but the M3 is still the king. I'd even take a C63 AMG or Audi S4 over that stupid looking Lexus IS-FAIL.

when the car is in park or neutral it only revs up to 5500rpm's but when its in drive or reverse it will go up to 6500rpm's

Cuz mine definately doesn't sound like that.
@xcracer2 the limiter set at 5500 because the gear is in park. if the car in drive it will get full rev allittle over the redline.

the newer tls do for both but older ones just the type s with 3.5L and regular ones have 3.2L

the muffler is still cold making it sound like that if you have a cold start it will sounds differnet no matter what until it warms up
intake headers exhaust and its even more official.

My Xhas a 07 tl-s with an intake an it makes it sound better but stock exahust is still horrable comperedto a G35

Not a Type S. You can tell the by the starter noise. Only the 2004-2006 TL’s had that starter, and the Type S didn’t come out until 2007
