I live in New Zealand. Nobody works on christmas day or the day after, or on new years day and the day after that, except for emergency workers like hospital, police or ambulance workers.

Merry Christmas Che! Here in Australia everyone besides emergency services workers and drs and nurses (and most other health care providers) get the day off. Most get a week holiday over the Christmas holidays. Paid. That’s a long shift.. unless you’re getting overtime, 14 hour shifts are not normal.

In Catalonia the 25th and the 26th of December are official festive days. Generally, both days people don't work and shops are closed. The same happens the 1st of January and the 6th of January (3 wise men's Day)

Jesus was not born on 25th decembar. He was born sometimes in the summer ( it says in the Qur'an). 25th decembar is a pagan holiday but long time ago church leaders agreed to celebrate it as Jesus birthday.

Here in Australia everyone besides emergency services workers and drs and nurses (and most other health care providers) get the day off. Most get a week holiday over the Christmas holidays. Paid.

In Catalonia the 25th and the 26th of December are official festive days. Generally, both days people don't work and shops are closed.

Jesus was not born on 25th decembar. He was born sometimes in the summer ( it says in the Qur'an). 25th decembar is a pagan holiday but long time ago church leaders agreed to celebrate it as Jesus birthday.

Hey Che, Catholics are ancient Roman Empire religion which is pagan along with “Christmas” because Jesus was not born in December, not judging just saying, knowledge is power.
