I'm honestly surprised at how useful these videos were. I haven't played in a while (like, since Sabertooth Games owned the system) but some of my friends were looking into the Mega Man set so I decided to teach them. These videos not only were a great refresher, but will also help in teaching. Thank you!

Okay, I’m learning the game for the My Hero Academia set. When the girl playing Protoman discarded a blocked attack from her card pool, she moved all her remaining cards down a spot in the card pool. Is that supposed to happen?
Hey, late reply but yes, she moved them to make it easy to count progressive difficulty (PD). When a card in the pool is discarded, it lowers the difficulty for any more cards played that turn because PD is calculated by each preceding card 'currently' in the pool.
I believe the standard deck size is 50-60 but you can max out at 120. They don't explain it in the video but you get to "cycle" your cards when your deck runs out during the match. Cycling involves shuffling the discard pile and setting it back up as your deck. Though, before you draw any more cards for your hand, you must take the first ten cards from the deck and set them aside. Those cards are out of the game. You repeat this every time you run out of cards to draw. If you end up having to cycle too many times and your entire deck ends up set aside before the game ends, you lose by default.
These videos are helpful. And I am not concerned either way with their gender. I will be using these videos to help me learn but I still have lots to figure out that isnt covered fully in the video. I look forward to seeing your schooling skills improve further with other games. Quick question though, just to save my lazy butt from having to look it up, if you run out of cards do you lose?
This game is just all over the place the enhance/reversal step gets out of hand and you are CONSTANTLY checking. The theme is all over the place so decks consist of a hodge podge of cards that don't feel like your playing your hero AT ALL. It's not the worst game and has good art. I found it annoying to actually play and doesn't simulate a BATTLE more just constantly checking and reading long Enhances and responses. You can also get foundation screwed! Plus things like that happened in their game she got up to 20 dmg with Mega Man, but nope Protoman takes NONE so now she has wasted her attacks that probably also had her blocks. I do think this was a VERY GOOD TUTORIAL though. All that being said the few guys in our gaming group do like it so it may be worth a TRY to see if you like it just don't expect to feel like your playing a fighting game doing cool combos that your character would do like in the EPIC Card Battles game. ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/81jhHxN-R4L._SX425_.jpg
I didn't like the Jeering, the world has too much animosity as it is. Partly It didn't seem authentic or natural, which would likely have had a friendlier energy. I think it would have been cool if they would have said "nice!" instead of "Jeez!" It's positivity that draws me towards certain game communities, and there were some subtly bitter notions of sore loosing and sore winning in the script, which I found off putting. But the entire format of how you presented teaching the game was really inspired, and very professional. It didn't teach me everything, but I felt it taught me enough to feel the rhythm of the game to decide if I want to get into it, which I feel was a good balance of information and time. It was a great setting, and the back and forth between the players teaching elements was really immersive. Great video overall!
I'll agree with you on Azra; she's got a real creepy look on her face constantly. Not sure how you're getting a creepy vibe from Lily though, seems warm and friendly to me.
i would guess that Lily has played a card game before so she is more comfortable with the "scene", but Azra hasn't, which you can tell by the way she draws cards at 3:22
Azra seems the most uncomfortable to start with as she's too busy trying to look pretty. although towards the end ( and when she goes off script) Azra seems to be actually enjoying herself and having fun :). Lilly worked for Jasco (i think) and it the reason why she seems so natural
