    Wonderful presentation. Very interesting and very touching. (My brother is Robert Brogden Sr. who spoke of the history and was the veteran carrying the flag in the homecoming parade) Excellent video!!!!

    I MISS FARMING! From Michigan , long ago EVERYONE HAD GARDENS ! Son & and I , learned to Midsize Farm 1994-2001 in SC/GA.! NO help for Years , so we came back North ahead of Hurricane Katrina! Ended up in Ohio! My Son , Married 10 years in Boston, MA. ! We LEARNED A lot ! Add: My Detroit Urban Survival Skills learned from Father , 1 of My Uncles & Scouting , we survived living in PRIMITIVE Conditions!

    I sincerely hope that the folks from Nicodemus NEVER lose this history. One day we will travel there to hear the stories and feel the community.

    This is a great story. I don't understand why they won't resettle the town now? They wouldn't need the railroad nowand would have knowledge on how to build it up. I mean the homecoming celebration sounds good. Why not try to make it thrive now?
