It depends on your rotations. You could lock one rb, rotate 5 others in the other spot (5 lineup rotation) then rotate 4WRs into the WR 3 spots (4 lineup rotation). Do that and you’d get to 20. So it’s really more about the positions you want to rotate rather than the number of players in your pool.
Play single entries or more expensive smaller contests. You’ll be fighting more projection based teams and expert sport fans and less random optimized teams built by a whole team of nerds.
@@coreygendron3319 if you lock in one let's say RB and he's in the first game and does terrible or even gets hurt, all your lineups are trash no matter what you do in the later games. Is this correct?
Question to settle a debate. Hypothetically you have enough money to play only 6 milly's for the Thanksgiving slate. Is it + ev to play one stack from every team to have coverage or is it more +ev to have less, like say 3+3 or 4+2? 6 qbs gives you 6 chances to be optimal, but if you have the right stack you could have it more than once. I suppose the same question could be asked of every slate, but I hope you get the concept of the question. Thank you for all your info ows has helped a ton. This will settle a debate we have going lol.
Once I was winning 100k at 3pm. I ended up only winning $150 because I had no late exposure. Always have at least one player from each game on a short slate
I think during the ows Angles podcast last week it was mentioned that you need to liken your lineups to a combination lock. Something like if you settle on say 4 core players, now you only have to break a five way combination. If you're building a completely different lineup every single time, now you have a 9 way combination. My first instinct was well you're five way has to be correct for you to win anything. But then again so does your 9 way. I'm probably not explaining it very well. However I try to settle on a core of 4 or 5 players in rotate others in.
It's always easy to look back and be results oriented. However, the likelihood of Lock or Rush being in the optimal lineup was very low. I think it's plus EV to use multiple stacks from a QB that's more likely to be optimal as opposed to including a stack from each team.
508k entries...6 teams...thats roughly a total of 54 possible players incliding defenses/ST. The odds of having the one lineup nobody else has is just nonsense

Terrible matchup for Josh Jacob’s especially. Everybody says the obvious things that look good on paper. The public plays it based on watching all these shows and things go totally the opposite way.
Love the concept of duplicate lineups, giving you the option to pivot in different directions
