Yes, both her and her 2nd youngest sister(sorry sweetie, I’m not so great at names)..It’s amazing to see those two big sisters being 2nd mamas…and all of the younger boys always helping out as well. These kids (all of them) are pretty darn AMAZING!

The challenges you both have had are enough to break even the strongest person. I encourage everyone to watch your story from the beginning before they make any judgements. As I read through what you wrote I was going to use that exact verse❤ I also agree that from the first video of Justin bringing the chickens and we got our first intro to Art and Bri, I have watched every episode and he was a loving father and husband and I knew he was struggling but it blew me away that he started drinking and left. I have seven kids as well, though mine are now older than yours. I always have had the desire to do stuff like this with my kids, but the work it takes to get there, and then the anxiety of being afraid of all the things that could go wrong with nature, and strangers in the trails, I didn't do it nearly enough... It's easy to watch a video like this from a seated, comfortable perspective, and just think, awe, that's lovely. It really is impressive though. My kids always talk about those days when I overcame obstacles, and took them on adventures, which surprises me, because it felt like such a chore. "It's stressful, do it anyway"... That is a quote to live by!
Those twinnies sure have climbed some serious mountains. Just to look at them now compared to the day they came hurtling into this world is extraordinary. Their flourishing despite it all is no accident.

I am getting better so we felt we could start, my husband retired and the next day he had a stroke, he is starting to get better, but with the grace of God our day will come. I live close to Black Balsam and most every Sunday after church my folks would pack a picnic and us kids up and we would spend Sundays climbing all over the mountains. we would spend labor day weekend picking huckelberries for the freezer. Great memories for your kids!

Bri thanks so much for taking us along in your hike…it felt like we were there❤️ thanks for including all the scenes of our beautiful NC mtns…my husband and I want to get there this fall, but not sure if we will make it…we live in the middle of NC, so 3 hours from the beach, for summer fun…and 3-4 from the mtns for fall and winter treks lol I’m so happy about how God is restoring your family…that’s what He is SO good at! My babies are adults now…my youngest a brand new ‘adult’ at age 18 just starting college and my oldest at 25 and a Chef in Missouri. I grew up much like your kids, except I do not remember ever wearing shoes in the summer unless we went to the fair! My oldest daughter much the same, a true country girl that moved to Missouri to enjoy the great outdoors…Always hiking, boating, and or camping. There is nothing much better than the beauty of nature. Such wonderful memories were made on this day:) Thank you for sharing!

When I watch those miracle babies climbing I am forever amazed at Gods goodness in bringing these little babies through their early days free from any sequelae. Amazing grace❤. I love that natural desire of littles to take their clothes off. An elderly woman who lived across the road and was only able to look out her window told me a story years later of a naked toddler she saw escaping from our house and running to his Dad and then being returned with his Daddy’s tshirt on. She said we always brightened her day.
Amazing agility of the twins. Roughing it without shoes. Just keep moving forward. I suspect having much older siblings gives the impetus to try things just like an older brother or sister.
Beautiful. I have a TBI, would love to take a walk like that . Not much here like that. We do walk in the woods. Love the bare feet. Its so good for the kids. Had to laugh at thd crocs but I wear them every where. Nature is so good for kids. So imortant.

When my babies were that little, everyone thought I was crazy to let them walk when we were hiking. But they always slept sooooo welll!

Bri thanks so much for taking us along in your hike…it felt like we were there❤️ thanks for including all the scenes of our beautiful NC mtns…my husband and I want to get there this fall, but not sure if we will make it…we live in the middle of NC, so 3 hours from the beach, for summer fun…and 3-4 from the mtns for fall and winter treks lol

Sweet Bri..You are fearless! Love how relaxed you are with the babies and all of the bigger kiddos…with climbing, hiking, barefooted babies to the mini fire. So cute! My babies are adults now…my youngest a brand new ‘adult’ at age 18 just starting college and my oldest at 25 and a Chef in Missouri. I grew up much like your kids, except I do not remember ever wearing shoes in the summer unless we went to the fair! My oldest daughter much the same, a true country girl that moved to Missouri to enjoy the great outdoors…Always hiking, boating, and or camping. There is nothing much better than the beauty of nature. Such wonderful memories were made on this day:) Thank you for sharing!

When I watch those miracle babies climbing I am forever amazed at Gods goodness in bringing these little babies through their early days free from any sequelae. Amazing grace❤. I love that natural desire of littles to take their clothes off. An elderly woman who lived across the road and was only able to look out her window told me a story years later of a naked toddler she saw escaping from our house and running to his Dad and then being returned with his Daddy’s tshirt on. She said we always brightened her day.
Amazing agility of the twins. Roughing it without shoes. Just keep moving forward. I suspect having much older siblings gives the impetus to try things just like an older brother or sister.
Beautiful. I have a TBI, would love to take a walk like that . Not much here like that. We do walk in the woods. Love the bare feet. Its so good for the kids. Had to laugh at thd crocs but I wear them every where. Nature is so good for kids. So imortant.

You know what you guys went through when the twins were born is no easy task it was very traumatic and I can only imagine the stress that caused! I’m so happy you handled it like a champ mom. Keep up the good work bri and yes it can be frustrating for sure especially with7 children

Kudos for going on a hike alone with 7 children. I’m sure it would have been easier to stay home and less tiring but you packed up the gang and headed out to explore . Now May I suggest get some much needed rest !
