- I don't know about you guys but every MK5 GTI that I've bought has a sunroof leak! it's terrible.... terrible design flaw.

I had dripping in my footwear area from blocked drains. All I had to do was remove the wipers, watch posts on TH-cam for that because they just don't come off the normal way. Lift and or remove mounding forward of windshield. On driver's side you'll see the drain nipple by the firewall...squeeze and clean. I used windex. The passenger side has a cover over the windshield wipers motor, unclip at left and wiggle out. Now you have access to the nipple there, squeeze and clean; a whole lot of water ran out of mine. Although it sounds complicated it isn't, took me all of 45 minutes, most of which was wrestling to remove passenger side windshield wiper. Thanks for this. I have a slight dripping from the sunroof, not water in the footwell. Could this be a cause or should I start elsewhere?
Yeah check the sunroof drains it'll drip when it's blocked ☝️
I am having a similiar problem, with a blocked sunroof drain and causing all sorts of problems. My whole roof liner is sagging or completely come off (doors, windows, roof etc) and covered in mould, waters getting in and getting everywhere!
Who replaced your headliner? Any recommendations for who can look at my sun roof drains? The leak appears to come from above the hose in the A pillar. I have a VW golf gt sport 2008. Biggest regret now

Those sunroof drains a menace mate get it sorted! Hopefully it's the same as mine.

Hello friend, I'm a mk4 bora (jetta) driver too. I want to buy a sensor light switch for my 2002 Trendline vehicle. Is it easy to find mk4 parts in your country? And is it cheap? What can be done for Mk4 performance.
I have bought all my sensor light switches from eBay and it's been ok!
It's about 30 dollars for regular sensor and 55 dollars for the Bluetooth model, the Bluetooth is somewhat tricky to get going! I'll have to make another video on it I think.
@@ajrveedub Thank you for replying. Parts are really cheap for you, but these parts are expensive in Turkey. That's why it's very costly to modify the vehicle, I watch it with love. I hope I can improve my tool one day.
