I am going to Paris tomorrow to N1 and we are of course soooo excited but slightly apprehensive that what you predict might be true.... I don't want to lose ATW 10min nooo way! It's what I am looking forward to! I could do with losing The Archer, Mastermind, The Man perhaps but don't touch any of the others please! Would LOVE to hear Fortnight and definitely ICDIWABH as a closer. Well, tomorrow night I know more :)
If absolutely forced to remove a song from each era (which is not what you asked, but I've decided to challenge/torture myself? lol): Lover (I understand The Archer is the more likely cut, though) You Belong With Me tolerate it (if people aren't gonna be after my throat for the last two, this one will do it...) I agree that nothing can be touched in Rep :D Enchanted (I get it, but I MUCH prefer Long Live) We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together cardigan Bad Blood (I'll be quite sad if you're theory is correct that Wildest Dreams is gone) Hm... probably Lavender Haze Now, again.. I'd rather NOT cut anything! lol This wasn't me saying I don't like these songs or these moments of the tour. (Though, if I'm being REAL honest and brutal, I *could* do without WANEGBT, Shake It Off, Bad Blood, 22, and Enchanted *just fine*.) Anyway, if I did my math right, my picks would free up about 31 minutes of space for TTPD songs and/or other replacements or additions (Debut, etc.). She did mention that one time how she was doing a '3 and a half hour show for her last 5 albums', back when she had 4 un-toured albums and the show was 'only' (lol) about 3 hrs and 15, so she had a LITTLE room penciled in there already, possibly. But since many of the TTPD songs are a bit longer, it might be good to pad it a little more, so I DO agree with you that she's likely to make *some* cuts. But probably none of my suggested ones, and probably not very many at all. But .. well this was a fun little way to kill a few minutes and work my brain. Thanks Dan!
Swifties who were saying TS is gonna/gotta cut ATWTMV are so naive and became Swifties in Lover era. Because they don't understand how big of a whirlwind and storm of a song the original version had become. And it wasn't even released as a single!! And the moment TS told it was actually cut down from 10 minutes, Swifties have since rallied for the ATWTMV to be released. Also, it used to be such a moment at each Red Tour show when TS would perform ATW, every damn time. AND it was a moment for TS herself as well. She used to be so devastated having to sing ATW each show but she did it anyway, like how TS always does. And so all those points matter to TS so f*cking much. ATW matrers to TS so f*cking much, TMV or not. So really all you ATW haters (yes I'm gonna call you haters cuz how can you even think that TS will not perform ATW at the tour where she's reliving all her eras) can go to hell!! Stay there and listen to your favourite "Lover". 🙄🙄
I also like folkleric on twitch, who finds and re-streams usually 2-3 different streams at once from tiktok or insta, so if something goes down you aren't missing chunks of the show while looking for another stream. :)
I'm so excited, I'm going all the way to Stockholm from the UK (had no chance of getting uk tickets lol 🫠). I'm sure she will add TTPD but not sure how/where - at the end would make sense. I really want to experience I Can Do it With a Broken Heart live!!! I'm getting slightly nervous that I will forget the words to every song (I don't know many but ...) and be very overwhelmed but it's going to be so fun, I just need to remember to soak up the atmosphere! I haven't made any friendship bracelets yet but I feel like I need to, and quick! X
