Yes true but not so much in power. I'm not a video editor so I used this for presentation only and It lags on when comes to Wireless Projections, my $200 Chuwi tablet could perform more when it comes to presentation. By the way, I used PowerPoint for presentation that is 2GB+ file capacity, because it has videos inside. While using this it lags and has delayed when transferring on the next slides. Yes it has a PC type of office included on this one, but when editing my 2GB PowerPoint into WPS presentation, it hangs. The app hangs and I need to close it and do it again... Now I'm back to my PC to edit my presentation.

It needs a laptop mode/mode similar to Samsung dex. I use huawei mate pad 11.5 as a student and no laptop mode is the only flaw.

It’s a shame Apple didn’t use this design for its iPads, meaning the thin bezels with the notch. It’s literally Apple’s own design for the MacBook’s screens and it’s a beautiful design. Also the way they implemented the keyboard and stand is also excellent, very productive.

Good comprehensive review. This may be a laptop replacement for some users only. The WPS has a big limitation compared to a laptop. It can only open 1 file at any given time. This means either a document, a spreadsheet, or a presentation. The app prevented user from opening two docs, or two spreadsheets, or one doc & one spreadsheet, etc. It's better than other tablets but still won't be able to replace a laptop for most users. Unless you have a PC/laptop at home, this would remain a companion device.

Actually with the new WPS Office 2.0 the MatePad Pro 13.2-inch comes with, there's space at the top of the app to have seperate tabs open for different documents, spreadsheets and presentations.

For me, tablets will never replace laptops. It is simply because of the operating system and software support. Full desktop environments are always better for productivity, believe me.

When it comes to innovation huawei has have to offer if only there not sunction by the USA and the google. actually theyre are the competitor of samsung and iPhone and when it comes to the question if its worth it it does and functionality wise it gives more than what you need. huawei knows what really the mass consumer need..and Google is not a problem..more power to huawei.they don't rely on the others even they've been sunction not using the 5g.they make there own way..
