@@marcin6386 Oh wow it's been 4 years. I don't regret buying it, it's been very fun to play around with but I haven't used it as much as I thought. I found I much prefer a midi controller and a DAW. I love the build quality and attention to detail on the OP-1, I'm planning on keeping it just because it's probably the coolest music gadget I have. There are probably better reviews out there if you're considering buying one! :)

I don't understand how some people can be so good at so many things. This guy can video edit really well, can do VFX really well and he makes sick fucking music. Meanwhile I'm over here playing F2P shooters all day long.

I would advocate to maybe just go ahead and install the beta OS. It's pretty damn stable and adds a lot.

At the end when you are playing the song (after you've made it) it has that little sound visual at the top of the video and there is a lense on the screen. At first I thought the sound visual was an edit to the video but I notice that it has reflections in the lense! This guy is skilled

How long does it usually take you to prepare one of your pieces?
Unless I'm using samples I got for the project specifically, no preparation leading up to the video recording itself. I record for about an hour and a half. The mixing and mastering of the track in Ableton takes a day or two.

love your videos! i got so inspired, I had to try out the beta with the arp as well. I didn't even get to try out the new presets, just adding layer after layer with the arp is so much fun. 4 hours later I have a track ready that sounds soo different (in a good way) than anything I did before with the op-1. you could say it developed a life on it's own! keep up the good work, learning a lot from this channel :)

I love the idea of bringing the OP-1 out in public more. I saw a guy walking around the park the other day with an Electribe sort of strapped around his neck walking around making music. It looked like a lot of fun.

I've been saving to buy an ms-20 mini and some monitors/cables and connections. Everything i need to finish my home studio and then some.
Watching these makes me want to blow all the money I've saved on an OP-1 omg. the urge is so strong wow.
This is from a high quality, of well designed frequency-effects which been required as one of the best jam recordings,because the portable synthesizer makes to me the best sound & music.

I had always just dismissed the op-1 as an overpriced toy, then I started looking for alternatives...I found one, crash cart full of shit and a UPS that You can not lug everywhere like this thing. After hearing all it can do, I just ordered one up today! Great videos! Anticipation on shipment that much more. Cant wait to start making beats while on the go.

Thanks Luke! Keep in mind you will lose all the current presets, so if there's any synth or drum presets you like, save them as snapshots and back them up somewhere so you'll have them for later.
