one of the best there, you cannot beat cooking over flames. She was so kind and attentive too. not cheap, but a great experience, I did eat for two haha
I would have eaten for 2 also, you did not travel all the way to Korea to eat small portions lol..especially grilled meats over the fire, that rice charred at the bottom 😋@@hungrytoexplore
That was a great episode. Love it that you got to try some other types of grilled meat and kimchi bokkeumbop. Too early in the morning for me to be watching, as now my stomach is growling...lol.
Absolutely loved the seafood market Joe. One thing I saw was the Mackerel, these are one of favourites to cook on the BBQ but is hard to get as they don't get much money for them. Would love to go to Busan.
In my experience the worst smell comes from fish blood. It deteriorates very quickly. I noticed that in Japan and Korea they are always using a lot of water to wash it away.
Yep 1-2 days for the blood to go rancid. But if it’s been bled properly from the gills after being caught that won’t happen. Then it’s trimethylamine which starts to be produced. Better not to keep it wet actually for that. I guess that’s why these are all live markets

hahaha it would be worth it! For sure, that was a fantastic experience
Epic meal Joe, you have no idea how I crave Korean food now. Thanks a lot😋. LIke I said, come for the food

Would you eat the Korean BBQ?
Yes, every day if I could😁
🌬️🐋👅
Yes.. Korean bbq is very very good. If you have beer. It goes well together.
@@antech555 hahaha me too

You're so funny Joe, when a lady almost sprinkled you with her water hose 😅😂
wouldn't want to get all wet now, would I!
Great video, Joe! What were the names of the other two fish restaurants you mentioned? I might try my luck at them during my upcoming trip to Busan.
You are definitely top 1% of British palates. Considering all the food you like you are very well traveled
Haha thank you!
Brilliant reporting on this one Joe
thank you - she was awesome!

Wow, Joe, the seafood that looks like red prickly pears are quite intimidating. I wonder what they would taste like, and how to cook them. 😮
날로 먹어요. 바닷물 맛? 화장품같은 향도 있고 감칠맛, 짜고 달고...
haha yeah I am definitely not brave enough to eat that hahahah, especially since the guy who replied said they are eaten raw!
you like them?
