You forgot the one tip about suppressors when you hear them. They’re within 100 metres if you can hear the sound of one and the sound doesnt travel at all past 100 metres so you can know which direction they’re likely in and know they’re close by
Its a small thing and obvious but if you pay good enough attention to the sound you can tell what gun is being shot too, could help you figure out a better engagement strat
Tip for Rebirth: When you kill an enemy player, look at your mini-map. If they have teammates still alive they will be pinged and appear as a red dot on the mini-map for about three seconds.
Ace I have a question that I've never heard be answered: My team and I like to solo split in quads, and say my teammate is in military and calls in a UAV while I am in storage, will the enemies in storage hear "enemy UAV overhead"? They will obviously be on UAV for me, but the player that called the actual UAV is across the map.
When you call a precision you ping on the mini map no matter what (ghost be damned) when you hear the audio look to see a single ping in the general area of the planes.. that's the guy who called it
A great tip I’ve learned in team based game modes is if a teammate is spectating you and you ping an enemy that’s in your vision, the spectator can open their map and keeping confirming and removing a ping on that enemy. It lets you keep seeing the enemy in game through walls.
I'm still shocked they havent added colored smoke trails to warzone, like they had it in Blackout & it's just another thing for people to customize and purchase.
That’s a stupid idea. Why would they do this? Do you think I would waste money on something as dumb as a smoke trail? Come on man is ridiculous. Because what I really want is custom parachutes
Pretty good awareness tip that’s kind of obvious: offset circles have a fast and slow side. If the next circle shows and there’s a large section of map closing to the next circle, the gas moves fast whereas gas moves slower in the smaller section of map closing. Kind of hard to describe in words
Another cool tip for less experienced players is pay attention to how the loot is on the ground if there's only two guns and maybe a lethal and/or a tactical granade someone got their loadouts there bc that's what people drop when they got a loadouts, they will never drop ammo, plates or anything more than their two guns or one of their guns and granades If there's two guns, tactical and/or lethal granades and at least one type of ammo someone died there bc when someone die, usually the player that killed already had a little bit of ammo, so the player that killed and looted that body left a bit of ammo there and possibly plates This can be helpful for multiple scenarios, like indicate someone camping in loadouts when multiple crates dropped and there's only two guns and Granades on the ground, a loot of a dead body in a door probably means someone died to a camper especially on certain buildings like bankers, those buildings with two staircases to the top and etc, so you should be careful... A lot of times you can expect something from places that has some random loot on the ground depending on how it is
Ace - a really good and easy trick that can save your life is to turn subtitles on. You may not hear an enemy character model callout but you'll see their operator name in the bottom of the screen.
My only tip is communication. Even mentioning something like "This area has been hit" and your partner 100 m awway says "my area hasn't been touched" means there may be someone between the two of you. Calling out the recons so your friends know where it is in case they are about to run into the recon team. Noting little things during gameplay can sometimes click for your squad. Communication can probably be a video of it's own!
Nice Vid! I didn't know quite a few of these despite watching your vids quite frequently. Regarding vehicles, I sometimes like to highlight on my map, vehicles such as SUVs or Berthas, which are more popular and durable. In certain situations (like trying to outrun the gas in circle 1 when you are far outside the zone, or when their hunter alert has gone red), enemies will surely pick up those vehicles, at which point your vehicle ping turns instantly into an enemy ping (though it's a stationary one, not a live ping) for a few seconds and it gives the distinct sound of an enemy ping. You can also know if a vehicle has been used by someone if you see that it has a not spawn color (as in it's not beige) like the green weed cammo or complete black. Vehicles take on those colors when a player has used them. This helps mainly when you see a vehicle parked neatly where it doesn't look too out of place>
Something I like to do early game and if I remember to during mid game is keep track of where nearby bounties are so that way if somebody in my squad or I get a bounty on us, I quickly check which bounty is now missing and now I have a pretty good idea where that enemy team is coming from
one not very known or used, is to look at the birds in the air, they tend to flee in groups from the opposite direction of a gun fight, or circle around a player’s location in the air
Thank you so much Ace for your objective testing and spending countless hours in-game and offline for these videos. I always turn to you for reliable, important gaming information. Keep up the great work 🙌
For the recon flares one thing I always do is pop the recon and then run away until the flare goes away and then you can come back and do the recon with no flare above you since it doesn't reappear
How about a video explaining the jankier mechanics, like how bullet penetration works. I've found it to be extremely inconsistent and usually avoid it, but would love to understand it.
When you hear the fallout that an enemy advanced uav is overhead does that mean someone in the traditional 200m called it or do I get that notification if anyone on the map calls it in
1. Listen for nearby loadout drops. You can ping the loadout as it falls if you're quick on the ping button, then pull up your minimap and remove and reping to get it on the ground. 2. You didn't mention that airstrikes cause players to show up on the map. 3. Loadout drops can be people in gulag, not necessarily nearby. 4. Loadouts don't disappear when players spectate another team, they have to leave the game.
If you don't see a number for the distance an enemy is within your location on the heartbeat sensor before the ping on it transmits then that means a number of situations in which there are either no enemies, the enemies may be ghosted (so they most likely have loadout weapons), and/or they are moving at a high rate out of the ping on the heartbeat sensor (so they either got in a vehicle or they have good movement so they're probably a sweat). Either way, you should keep your ears open and you don't have to wait until the ping does a full sweep on the heartbeat sensor. I've seen guys die because they go inside a building with their heartbeat sensor out and wait until it does a full sweep or multiple sweeps, even with it showing no dots on the sensor itself, only to then get killed by a ghosted player camping in the corner when they probably could've turned the tide of the gun fight if they weren't already using equipment in that situation and had their gun in sprint out position ready to fire.
The arrows on the UAV pings would have been good in this video. Also talking about keeping in mind where you would go to get a vantage point (attics, hills, roofs, headglitches) so you know where to be expecting an enemy to pop up if you know someone is in the area.
Also didn't see you mention this for the air strikes, but the enemy that calls it in will show up briefly on the radar as if they were shooting an unsilenced weapon
Not sure if you mentioned it but , paying attention to enemies throwing loadout markers(sound que & red smoke) , also the closest buy that sound que came from(say if ur in a building and miss the red smoke). Also thx for the amazing content!

Something that you don't mention in the Airstrike/Cluster Strike part is that when you call an Airstrike, you get pinged in the mini map (like you have fired an unsuppressed gun once) and that clusters don't have a limit that can be called in, while Airstrike once someone has called one nearby (friend or foe), you cannot call yours as well.
Same thing with the contracts, if you look at the map and a vehicle disappears, someone is there. Whether they destroyed it or got in it doesn't really matter
In that example with calling in airastrikes and how it can be unreliable (with respect to the direction it is moving on the minimap), you called the airstrip down directly on yourself, so bets are off
4:00 - How does flight path have anything to do with anything after beginning of game. When people come back from gulag or continue to move on from where they originally landed, the original flight path has no bearing on where they are.
There's a slight caveat on the most wanted... the live ping is delayed by about a second (you can even see it in the video). And so, it's not reliable for CQC when timing your movements is key.
If you ping an empty vehicle and annenemy takes it it'll automatically ping it as hostile. Handy to keep an eye on vehicles without having to keep checking it.
Hey @TheXclusiveAce just saw your video on awareness, firstly great work, it's an awesome video. Secondly when it comes to airstrikes, you actually get a red dot appear on the mini map, as if a player has fired an unsuppressed weapon.
Doesn’t calling in an air strike or cluster strike put your position on the map for a fraction of a second too? I could have swore there was something (other than guns) that put a ping on the map when you used it.
I really hope they nerf the Fara, this is the Grau 2.0 again but arguably even worse. This thing is so annoying and such a low skill weapon. They need to nerf the damage or the recoil because it does way too much damage for such a low amount of recoil that it has making it very hard to beat currently. As for the C58 I actually think is fine due to the fire rate, even though is actually very accurate, the fire rate really balances things and separates it from the Fara. As for the Amax, I feel like they went too far with the nerfs. I can understand what they did to the upper torso but the nerfs they did to the limb damage and headshot damage needs to be reverted. The weapon feels so weak sometimes that is crazy honestly. To add on to that we also have a 45 round mag and a 960 bullet velocity, there is honestly no reason to use the Amax anymore unless they buff it again
Definitely nerf damage. They need a very low recoil gun for those that struggle with recoil. I understand new players wanting to hit shots even if they lose a gun battle. Although I agree it needs a nerf because I’m bored of using it. I think it’s okay there being no reason to use Amax. It was so commanding for so long it’s alright to make other guns be the ones to use.
I do have a question. Is there a difference between the voicelines of "Enemy UAV overhead" and "Enemy Personal Radar in your area"? Or do both of them mean the same thing? I know in MW2019's multiplayer, Personal Radars and UAVs are different things, so that's where my question comes from.
Anyone know why this season we randomly get an enemy ping from across the map??? And also they need to fix the gulag audio leaking into all of farmland

Great video, as per usual! Do you really think the majority of players in a match drop straight down on the plane path? I'd be inclined to swap your orange and red areas. Even in your video example of "watching people dropping", very few drop straight down.
I’ve noticed that sometimes when i call in a uav people will show up on the uav but as we move closer to then they will disappear from the uav and i know they didn’t get another loadout in the short amount of time to get ghost. It seems like it is between 200-250 m. Anyone you could test to see if this is a soft spot in the ghost perk?
Yes, people running Ghost will still show up on UAV right at the edge of its range, then Ghost will kick in as you get closer and they will no longer appear.

When a precision gets called in, that person’s location pops up on the mini map like a UAV regardless of Ghost Perk

Complain, be baffled why it isn’t fixed, and keep playing because we all are in abusive relationships with activision that we won’t leave

It’s like all I want to know is where people are if someone sees me because sometimes I be clueless
Great video
I’ve noticed that sometimes when i call in a uav people will show up on the uav but as we move closer to then they will disappear from the uav and i know they didn’t get another loadout in the short amount of time to get ghost. It seems like it is between 200-250 m. Anyone you could test to see if this is a soft spot in the ghost perk?
Yes, people running Ghost will still show up on UAV right at the edge of its range, then Ghost will kick in as you get closer and they will no longer appear.
good tip
