Love how you don’t edit out the little disasters you have when things fall apart. It all adds to the fun element, I always learn something along the way too.
When I have little disasters I just roll with it. It’s a junk journal. I’ll just make it look like I meant to do that. Or transform it into something else.
What fun you put in your journal making! I thank you every time I watch your videos because you make me happy. I enjoy hearing you talk about the old TV shows and other events from the time you were growing up. I wish we could have been neighbors then. Oh, what mischief we could have gotten into. LOL. Keep being you. Tell Sunny Turbo said Woof.
I invited the ladies in my church over to my studio To make Christmas cards, & we used my 3” circle punch for a window on the front of the card. Then we made a small wreath from the tiny ends if the trees outside & made 3” wreaths around the punched holes! Then I dumped a pile of home decorating magazines on the tables, along w/used Xmas cards, and ribbon, scraps of yarn, fabric, trimmed papers and other stuff! I let them look thru the junk themselves & chose what they wanted to see thru the “wreath window”! The best part was watching the women being all excited about making the cards, & seeing all the all the cards they made & how very different each one was from the others! We had 16 women my studio that day & it was so much fun!!! If wreaths won’t fit in your journals then you can stitch with yarn around the hole, or glue lace or buttons around yours, or even place dried flowers around or even paint little flowers or ivy or mermaids & shells & starfish, depending on the season. In fact some of the cards were actually quite exceptional in creativity and concept! But I have to say that I learned the most of anyone Just by watching these other women playing with what was really just junk Thanks for sharing your ideas w/us all! You sure got me thinking in circles myself today! Ha,ha! Your little I doggie is just as cute as he can possibly be! He must take after his Mommy🌹
You could always punch out two book page circles and have the front one right side up and the back one up side down so when you fold the bottom up the text will be right side up.
If you have a clean desk , you’re not creating ! Who cares if you have a messy desk? Pam is giving us a great tutorial , and sharing her great ideas . Not here to criticize her desk.
These are awesome. I just made some and I have a tip. If you put a very very thin strip of glue right into the fold, the tuck will hold your items more securely… of course, you have to wait for the glue to dry before you tuck anything in 😂. These were a lot of fun to make.
Great use of circles!!! Those die cuts remind me of my old birthday cards which I just found a great use for instead of sitting in their box for the past 60+ years! Thanx
You Pam, 🥰 make my morning better and better with, not just your great circles ideas but with your unique sense of humor 😁 and Suny sweet face😍I love it. Thanks for sharing everything! Greetings from Puerto Rico 🇵🇷
I read down about 10 of the comments and didn't see anything about Brylcreem. The jingle was (as best as I can remember) "Brylcreem, a little dab'll do ya. Use more only if you dare, cause watch out the gals will all pursue you. They'll love (?) to run their fingers through your hair!" Appreciate all your ideas, darn my largest circle punch is 2" although (light bulb moment) I do have a 3" circle die. Punches come in handy, too, though! Love to Sunny from Freddy (Westie) Bonnie (Yorkie) Clementine (Beagle Spaniel Mix) and Lucy (a free Chihuahua with a $5,000 skin problem.) It's okay, she is very much worth every penny. Bonnie, Clemmie and Lucy are all rescues. Fred was a purchase, but for sale dogs need a home too. 🐦❤
Miss Pam, I always love your videos like this one that shows different ways to use the same element. I also appreciate your tips for storing and using supplies. Two that I will always use is adding a small magnet to hold a pin on glue bottles and maximizing paint by using mop papers to get all of it on paper. This has gotten me into another paper craft habit. I use $1 watercolors to prepare a stash of colored papers. In addition to papers for signatures, I use it on scrap papers like junk mail. I especially like using the off cut strips from white copy paper and book pages. They make a good base pages and master boards. Thanks to your videos, I've also gotten into the habit of mass producing ephemera and other journaling elements. Thanks for all the great ideas!!
Most genius ideas. Thank you so much for sharing your ideas with us. I have saved this so i can go back and revisit it over and over. Great addition to journals.
LOVE love love this!! I am making a recipe journal for my new granddaughter-in-law and plan to use a very old falling apart cookbook for pockets etc. This is perfect for that. Thanks Pam, you have the best ideas. Great video!
Thank you for this idea. I am always looking for more ideas with circles. I got a 2 1/2" circle punch from a thrift store for only $6 and It works great.
What a great way to get my morning started. I remember my mom using Dipity Doo on my hair! Thanks for all your creative ideas and hilarious conversation.
My dad used Brylcream. A little dab'll do ya' was its hook. I dressed up as a Greaser for '50s day in grade 11 and it took me a week to wash it out of my hair! Thank goodness it was hat day the next day of Spirit Week! Needless to say, next year I went back to the plaid skirt, white blouse, saddle shoes and school sweater!
As soon as I saw the names Flossie & Freddie on that first circle, my brain went "Bobbsey Twins". I enjoyed those books as a child Bert & Nan too. Guess what... I married a twin.😁
I absolutely cannot go a day without a Sunny update! I tried to go back to some of your old videos from years ago but apparently Sunny didn't make it into the paper show until fairly recently. Ohhh what will I do when I need a Sunny fix on your non-filming days? And Pam...I really enjoy you too 😃😉🙃

Hi Pam, this is very off topic, but I just watched an older video of yours (make a junk journal with full size pages) and you were putting down glue and rubbing it around with your finger. It reminded me of one of the first videos I watched of you--you squirted glue over paper, distributed it with your finger, laid down another paper--and burst out laughing--instead of spreading the glue around, you had wiped it all off. Thank you for teaching me to laugh at my mistakes and carry on.
Pam have you ever heard of the Glue Sponge it comes in a seal tight container and has a tight fitting sponge in it and you can lay your intricate pieces and get glue on all of it. It stores well and you can put it upside down to make sure they glue is at the top if you need more other wise just lay it on it put a little pressure and the piece is completely ready to glue.
