On the first one, their flows compliment each other SO well, it was ridiculous. An album or EP from Masta Ace, Special Ed & Buckshot would have been an instant classic.
Understanding the 3rd volume doesn't measure up to the first two CLASSICS, however on it's own it stands strong. Can't disrespect anything that has Mos on it and Jean is an underrated monster of an MC.
There is no Part 3, and If so which Spike Lee movie was it on the soundtrack of? That's how you know the third is a FAKE. There is only A *Crooklyn Dodgers* and a *Return Of The Crooklyn Dodgers*. Each were lead singles to two Major Motion Pictures, both being Spike Lee Joints... 1) Crooklyn 2) Clockers
I like this rap song a lot even liked it when it first came out in the early 90's. Only thing I disagree with is when ( SPECIAL ED ) said there is no ( GOD.)

+Sergio-Cess agreed

28 years later and I can still listen to #2 over and over again. Huge fan of Jeru.
✌🏿👍🏿✊🏿😃😁
As much as I love Mos, Jean Grae and 9th, the third one is Crooklyn in name only.
Didn’t know there was a third lol
@@bingflosby Me neither. They could've kept this one.

Return of the crooklyn dodgers is the best
The First 2 are Classic! The 3rd was Alright not better than the 2 originals but good and more Hip Hop than what's out Now
Love the flow on that first one, that Angela Davis bar 🔥🔥🔥
Thank you utube for giving this version of these jewels

All versions are dope but the first 2 were more similar as far as a piano loop being sampled in both records
3rd one is fire, Curtis sample with Biggie Bklyn sample. This song compliments the others.💯

Never heard the third one.....Return, then the original and then the third one......
All the three are 🔥... only the the 3rd version followed a rather different angle but still with heavy beat and fantastic pianos 🎹
Crooklyn Dodgers: The Godfather

Its not fake. Mos def from brooklyn too. He made it as a homage to the OGs. Their needs to be a pt.4 with the new brooklyn rappers

he says guide but it sounds like god
The 3rd one is not Crooklyn Dodgers. It's not from a movie soundtrack. It's nice, but not CD.
The third is not that good. The first & second ones are way better.
