Understanding the 3rd volume doesn't measure up to the first two CLASSICS, however on it's own it stands strong. Can't disrespect anything that has Mos on it and Jean is an underrated monster of an MC.

Each were lead singles to two Major Motion Pictures, both being Spike Lee Joints... 1) Crooklyn 2) Clockers

The third is not that good. The first & second ones are way better.
