Rewatch the best freeriders in the world take on the most INSANE course in Fort Scott, Kansas. [Full show originally aired on September 25, 2022 on ESPN+ in U.S. and Red Bull T.V. outside U.S.]
Red Bull Imagination is the ultimate freeride event and its third year bigger was bigger and badder than ever. #RedBullImagination
For this year’s course, the goal was to create a dirtbike freeride area that mimicked a skatepark. “There’s a ton of inspiration from other action sports,” Bereman said. “My whole goal with this is a dirt bike skatepark with so many jumps you can’t hit them all in a three minute run. I want to set it up like a skate contest where you have to pick your lines through a dirt skatepark,” he added. With inspiration from mountain bike contests like the Red Bull Rampage, and snowboard contests like Red Bull Natural Selection, Bereman hopes to mimic the style of action sports contests that offer riders more options and creative lines to express themselves while still competing.

1st Place - Axell Hodges
Hodges earned a score of 98.00, and it was exciting to see Bereman as the first rider to congratulate him. The level of respect between the riders at Red Bull Imagination is like no other contest, which continues to elevate the sport to where it is today.
2nd Place - Tyler Bereman
As Bereman made his way to the opening jump on his run, the crowd could see what he was lining up for - the biggest jump on the course. Not only was it the biggest jump at 180 feet long, but a jump that wasn’t even thought possible during the course build. The wind barreled and Bereman proceeded to the 180 foot jump in third gear, giving it everything the bike had. As he cleared the line with ease, the crowd erupted as they knew this run was going to get good.
3rd Place - Julien Vanstippen
Vanstippen opened his run with a huge 130 foot backflip, and laid out three more backflips to follow. As he whipped his way around the courses, he approached the end of his run with a large turn-up whip for the crowd. Vanstippen said, “I didn’t ride any dirt jumps (in Belgium), but all the jumps are so good here it gave me confidence for the run.”

@@gpaull2 yeah I know they don't make alcoholic drinks buddy. But what they do make is about a million alcoholic drinks with Red Bull as a mixer. A big one here is jagermeister and Red Bull or vodka Red Bull.

@@easley421 - I was trying to make a joke about them being good at everything except making beverages, which is kinda supposed to be their main deal. I was referring to the taste of red bull. Nothing to do with alcohol or what other ventures they have.

Axle said it best, they are all winners just making it through. Takes alot of guts to do that especially with the wind not in your favor. Kick ass and awesome watching those guys hanging it all out. Thanks for putting this on also for the fans.
You could easily die on every jump in this course. Feel like the screen has numbed us to how mad this course really was / how crazy it's gotten over the past few years. These dudes are super heros
yo BIIIIIIIG shout out to everyone who made this production happen, I am stoked that you guys are really about experimenting & pushing things forward.
Lemme just say, I think I echo the community sentiment here - Whoever worked on this has a lifetime pass to tell anyone: " just trust the process" - being patient is where TF its at & this year's Imagination show further proves how valuable it is to give the production team/crew whatever they need to fulfill the vision & execute it all with everyone's role working in perfect harmony.
I am only 15 min in, but I had to come praise y'all for the masterclass in shot-selection & overall composition of the runs - insane that this was a live production given it's magnitude & quality. Shout out to everyone who made it happen, at all levels of the Red Bull Motorsports team.
The fact that Jeff and Weege came to this over MXON speaks the significance of freestyle to the sport of Motorcross ..

Being from Kansas, I knew about the E3 Ranch but didn't know this was happening until it was over!? I was actually riding at my local track (Jeeps) while they were crushing the freestyle. Rock ON!!

I love how they used that 14 ft blade as the ramp, years ago I had a blast demoing a blade for caterpillar when it was in the experimental phase called the 140x, it absolutely blew my mind how top secret it was and having to sign nda's, but still thought the Deere was better.

Never again do we ever want Emig as a side host...EVER!!! this type of event should have someone who is a apart of the freeride community(in the present). This isn't supercross.
