Congratulations to Gene for hosting his 1st successful 2 days Silat Suffian Bela Diri (SSBD) seminar in Stamford, Connecticut on the weekend of the 7th and 8th March 2020.

Wanted to take this opportunity to thank you. I'm disabled and I'm using your drills that you showed on an another channel in order to strengthen my legs.... I wasn't able to walk for 6 months, a gentle bump would rattle my bones and put me down.
Trying to learn what I can from your videos, plan on travelling to Cardiff and your seminars if you'll have me. Joining your Facebook group looks a must.
So again, thank you, you're teachings are more than just defence for me... it's a way to fix my body.

Ive actually moved from cardiff in 2012 to Surrey. Now due to the Pandemic, Ive moves back to Brunei to be closer to the family.
@@Maul565 thank you. 😊 I bet it's a lot more pleasant weather. I will contact the training groups for the UK, I may not be able to attend a group every week, but I will try to set you up a new group in Yorkshire once I have attended a while and met yourself on a seminar if you'll let me.
I believe your techniques and training , if practiced every day, will greatly improve my life... if I have to travel across the world to fix myself and meet the man who taught me indirectly... then so be it... makes a change from Rhyll (North Wales 😆)

Just a heads up, the Taukokyu series with Jay Creasy produced by Budo Brothers is a great rehab tool. I dislocated my hip about 8 years back and it's helped me immensely.
Good on you for sticking with a martial practice man, that's the spirit we love.

That just one move from silat with normal visible kerambit, 4 or 5 hit.
Now imagine the hidden kerambit,
Or small kris with poison.
Normal people will instant die, usually.

All silat dose,itu yang membezakan silat itu punya asas yang benar dan bukan hanya asal2 silat.
Gerakan bunga adalah asas identiti sesuatu persilatan.disana kita dapat membezakannya.
Boleh la kita semua minta Guru Maul untuk buat video gerak tari 😁😁

I don't understand. Why the extra step? Wouldnt it be simpler to just shove the knife on his throat once it's on the ground? I've been watching you for many years, since i was a kid and i really like your content and have a deep respect for you and your art, so please keep in mind this is a genuine question and not an attempt of discrediting the technique
Just in case if the first two steps couldn't finish the job.so u have other options.
The more we train the more its about learning the art and body mechanics.
If we take the simple obvious technique, then the opponent will also expect it. Do something that is not expected 🙏

Yeah, the body mechanics is what i found most interesting, about how effortlessly you can flip him on his belly using the right leverage points with just one hand, or about controlling specific parts of the body to control the overall dynamic more precisely. Thanks a lot for your insight
The message is so simple..1st hit is to be very hard and finish the fight..however if he is as strong as incredible hulk..mike tyson or late bruce lee..that is why application on the 2nd,3rd,4th moved is to be deployed until you feels want to run away or he is dead!

It's a Training Flow, not a fight. Each tiny Strike/Part of the Flow would probably end a real fight. It's for the training.
Only 1 way to counter karambit look for range weapon or run!thats it!
