I would want to travel everywhere looking for vintage Christmas. I would buy for myself and all my family and friends. It just brings back so many wonderful memories growing up.
Me too Mike. I adore vintage Christmas. Got some original putz houses in the box from a Great uncle after he passed. Also the little corsages with ribbon, mercury glass on them. My mom had little silver trees with balls on them, made in Japan, about 5 or 6 inches tall. I have a good collection. Looking for an aluminum tree now. Glad to meet a kindred spirit out there.

The kids "plant" Srarlight mints in the crushed oreo "ground."
During the night, you secretly switch them out with candycanes.
When the kiddies check in the morning...
A crop of candycanes have magically grown.

Oh that big Santa is perfect! He's delightful to look at because when I think of Santa, that's how I see him. Blue round fairy lamp and all the red glass, and of course ANY black kitty anything is always a good choice. "Liberace, Liberace, Liberace... Ruthie Newman!". It's like she specifically stocked that area for you! 😁😻🕵👍❄💗

That large Santa is nice. My Grandma had one of those but it was the popcorn style. And it was big. Grandma went all out for Christmas. She even had a sleigh.

I just love that mall. When I was there I bought a lot from them to resell. It's funny I bought this ugly cat that was sprayed gold it was only $2 when I got home I was like why did I buy this nobody's going to want this. So I decided to paint it black and it had a little mouse too so I painted it gray gave the cat green eyes and I sold it for $15 at Halloween.
As far as the red glass goes I would go there and buy as much as you can at that discount they all seem reasonably priced to begin with. Because, you cannot only use that at Christmas but that's great for Valentine's Day that's coming up as you said.

Hi Misty. We will be visiting the Bedford antique places tomorrow. We are from Ontario Canada and are big fans of you and your channel. We drove through Canada to British Columbia to visit our son and daughter-in-law. We stayed with them for 3 weeks. Hadn’t seen them since before Covid. Now we are driving home through the the States now that we are allowed in. 😁. We will also visit places in Pennsylvania that Michael and Jocelyn visit. I hope you have a relaxing weekend.
The candy compote at 17:00 with the koi fish is early-mid 1960s Fenton. They called the koi fish handled pattern dolphin for some reason 🤷🏼♀️ so it’s a Ruby Dolphin Candy Compote. Very pretty! If you didn’t pick it up I would recommend it.
Red glass is pretty versatile, it’s good for Christmas but it’s a color I find lots of people leave out all year since there’s a holiday just about every season that it goes with. It can be dressed up to go with anything.
I think she's been watching your videos, lol....love how she had a whole stack of Liberace records. $10 for Grumpy Santa was a great price. I collect those.

In the 50s and 60s my mother would search for the most exotic of candy dishes to give as wedding showers gifts. I see really pretty ones in this shop. She would have loved them.

Personally I think 🤔 buy the red glass. You can sell it before Christmas but also up to Valentines Day. You always seem to come out well in your U tube sales Red always attracts buyers.

Did I hear you say not many people like cardinals?? I beg to differ. I don't remember the significance, but people connect them with someone who has passed. Blue birds and cardinals are probably the two most popular birds.

What is so interesting about most of the eBay/TH-cam collectors is that none of them were of the age to enjoy these decorations as a child, I’m glad there is still interest in them and that they still exist but I find it sad that people look at them only for profit instead of remembering all the joy that these brought to millions of children all over the world when they were decorating their trees in their homes, And I guess I’m over sentimental wishing that these would continue to decorate trees instead of be on a shelf in the original box

Of all the cat items that you looked at, I couldn't take my eyes off the little white dollhouse cabinet/cupboard with the black cats painted on it. It was only $1.00, I think? That is adorable! It was on the same shelf with the large wooden black cat, right at the end of the video. Love, love all the Christmas items!
