Henry Fraser, Contrabass / henry__fraser
Born in Boston and based in NYC since 2014, bassist Henry Fraser has since collaborated with notable artists, performing globally at prestigious venues like the Panama Jazz Festival and Lincoln Center. Recognized in Rolling Stone and selected for the Art OMI Music residency, Fraser also facilitates music workshops for incarcerated youth through Carnegie Hall's Future Music Project. His focus on solo double bass music has resulted in three album releases, and his performance in the Interludes series is a preview of his latest project, "Breath Line," an ongoing work for contrabass, scheduled for release in Fall 2024 on Dinzu Artefacts.
