YG has the secret to making the best girl groups in the world down to a science. 1. All members must have different vocal tone, texture, and color and be great live singers. 2. All members must be beautiful and have different looks (none of them can even look like they could be cousins). 3. All members must be authentic (be themselves) and have different personalities and have good personalities (likeable). 4. All members must be leaders. These differences in members is where other groups fail where many members either sound similar, look similar, or have similar personalities or fake personalities. That makes songs, performances, and interviews boring. Even with Blackpink when Rose and Jisoo split the 1st chorus they would swap lines the second chorus keeping it the same for fimaliarity yet sounding completey different. BabyMonster does the same thing or has totally different members sing the 2nd chorous. This makes the song constantly changing and always interesting. They do the same with the music by adding or taking away instruments throughout the songs as well as beat changes and totally unique rappers. Blackpink also does visual coding in their MVs - something BabyMonster needs to add to be able to reach that Blackpink level of success.
