Then there are their individual Introduction videos of each member (watch their character playlist as well). Then watch the Last Evaluation series. It’s amazing. You see the girls perform individually and as a group in singing and dancing. You also get to see Jennie and Lisa from Blackpink mentoring them. Also, if you like Stuck in the Middle, you should watch their pre-debut song “Dream”. It’s one of my favourite songs from them. Forever MV is Pharita's dream while she is stuck in a dream loop referencing several Disney classics. Peter Pan with her being tiny (like Tinkerbell) while in the claw machine, flying through London (Big Ben clock) with fireworks. Cinderella with the golden slipper (in this case a stainless steel stilletto shoe), loosing a shoe at the event, and the clock about to hit midnight. And most of all Snow White as she is stuck in the Forever sleep (connecting to the name of the song) and being surrounded by the dwarfs (that is why they are not standing so they immitate the size difference). The shoes and unopened invitation at the end show that she is still in the dream loop as she never went to the event. Throughout the song the lyrics are repeated, "It was only a dream"". The music from the beginning begins again as Ruka rings the doorbell to start the dream loop all over. They should have ended it with Pharita looking through the peep hole seeing Ruka whisper BabyMonster. YG girl group MV have all kinds of secret coding and hidden messages in them. Deep stuff. Stuck in the Middle also is referencing Disney fairy tales with each of the 6 members (Ahyeon was still on break) representing a different Disney Princess. It also is hinting to the problems with relationships and why they are stuck in the middle is because they do not understand relationships because girls learn relationships from Disney movies and playing house with dolls = why they start the MV in a doll house. Also referenced is the book Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus = why in the MV the girls are on a completely different planet (not Earth). The lyrics also reference these concepts by stating, "I thought that I knew everything, I guess I don't know anything" , "I get emotional, and hypothetical, wondering if there are all kinds of things, that I'm not supposed to know". U should check out some of her training period interpretations, like Eminem's "Godzilla" (although is just a small part) & Me, Myself & I. Rora (her stage name “Rora” came from “aurora”. Yang Hyun-Suk, the main producer of YG named her so, confident that her beauty and talent would shine like the northern lights), south-korean, 16 y old, vocalist, (the 1 playing the piano at the start of Sheesh - btw she rly knows to play the piano) has an amazing tone, a little in the low register, but with an amazing range. Chiquita - well, well well😅, last, but not least, the maknae of the group (the baby 🤗). Born in febr of 2009, 15 y old, vocalist she completed her training in the shortest amount of time among the BM members (she was revealed as the 3rd member of the group, after Rami & Ahyeon). When she came to SK she was 11-12 y old, she didn't understand/speak a syllable in korean & cried for her momma 😁, as her fellow members unveiled. She is the most pampered by the other members & her idol in life is Blackpink's Lisa (when she encountered her, for the 1st time, during her training period, when Lisa went to check on them, she was fangirling like crazy 🤣). About her, Yang Hyun-Suk, the main producer of YG , said that she is the one with the most potential & fastest growth among all of them even saying that she probably, in the future, will surpass her older Thai sister, Lisa as a global music icon. She is the blonde 1 with pigtails in Sheesh, or with really baggy clothes, singing the chorus, in Click Clack. And let me say this, in conclusion, BABYMONSTER will be, in my opinion (& many others) the future queens of kpop, even surpassing Blackpink. Their live singing skills, as much as I'm a blink& I love Blackpink (them being my introduction into kpop , 3 y ago), these girls are simply superior in terms of vocal skills & they will only get better , provided that they don't disband & stay healthy or if YG doesn't mismanage them somehow (hopefully not.).
Their M/V are gorgeous, everything is on point, but their live performances give the exact measure of their level, and you don't have to be disappointed because their live voices are better than the recorded version!

I'm a hard hip-hop fan but "stuck in the middle " is by far my very favorite song from babymonster. YG are known for their heavy hip-hop style but they are really really good making ballads and r&b

She returned for the official 7 member debut on April 1, 2024 with Sheesh MV. Forever dropped on July 1, 2024 and was a pre-release single to the Drip Album which, as you know, just dropped on Nov 1st.

For SITM, Ruka in the stunning red dress at the start of the video is standing on her darkened world 🌑 caused by her unrequited love. The single flower 🌷 represents a glimmer of hope for her love. Note how the single flower on a dead world is very much like Disney’s Wall-E! The rest of the video/song is Mulan looking Ruka’s daydream. Rora grabs our soul in her Jasmine green dress after Pharita’s first verse, and later as Rora is playing on the piano 🎹. Chiquita is captivating, especially in the opening scene as she looks into the camera and melts us, and Pharita’s angelic lyrics include “…let it go” (with it repeated as an echo) which is an homage to Disney’s Frozen, as is the stairway to heaven later in the video and Rami’s beautiful blond braided hair. For SITM, Ruka in the stunning red dress at the start of the video is standing on her darkened world 🌑 caused by her unrequited love. The single flower 🌷 represents a glimmer of hope for her love. Note how the single flower on a dead world is very much like Disney’s Wall-E! The rest of the video/song is Mulan looking Ruka’s daydream. Rora grabs our soul in her Jasmine green dress after Pharita’s first verse, and later as Rora is playing on the piano 🎹. Chiquita is captivating, especially in the opening scene as she looks into the camera and melts us, and Pharita’s angelic lyrics include “…let it go” (with it repeated as an echo) which is an homage to Disney’s Frozen, as is the stairway to heaven later in the video and Rami’s beautiful blond braided hair. Asa and Ruka both stun us walking on a pathway of stars which might be an homage to Disney’s Wish. There are other Disney references such as Rami on the small island looking like The Little Mermaid, the pond for The Princess & the Frog, and I’m sure several more.
