1.Why diazepam(long acting)? Why not lorazepam/midazolam(short acting)?
2. Iv thiamine500mg before dextrose

I was given 12 mg of ativan/lorazapam in 2mg doses when I was in status epilecticus. When that didn't stop seizures I was given 1500 mg of IV Keppra and a phenobarbital which eventually worked to stop them. Guess it must depend on the hospital 🤷‍♀️
