      I have healed myself alone in a cheap hotel room in India from severe sepsis gangrena on both legs from knees to feet fingers , it took me 6 months , I had the all seasons , in long and large , with dead body bad smell putrefaction , first two months was going 3 times per day to pharmacy for triple dose antibiotics injection , then failure so i went hardly to emergency , the doctor wanted to cut my legs i refused and leaved the hospital on same day , he changed my treatment to oral treatment , one month more with chlorhexidine oily bandage all long my legs every days , then at home a nurse helped me , i had no money for admission , in india , I am french , was paralysed on floor 5 months the rest of the Time , after 3 months treatment it took me 3 months to re grow my skin my meat on the legs , it was burning firing like hell 24 hour 7/7 when moving , no possible to reach my bed or standing for urination , I survived and saved my legs in becoming my own doctor , it just took longer , i can imagine no money peoples having this illness it's mean infection & amputation faster than sunlight speed , cause India is so dirty that these bacterias are everywhere ...

    Thank you for this I went thru septic shock last year and i was in the hospital for 19 days. Unfortunately on the third day there I ended up coding out in my room and my oxygen dropped below 20% they ended up saving me. But I was so out of it and they had to pump me with so many antibiotics that the communication with the doctors and nurses was difficult. But watching this explains a lot so thank you sir.

      Sadly my Mother passed away on the 6th of August 2023. 87 years and showed no signs of infection. She was recovering from a broken hip 10 months earlier and was doing very well. Friday before she died she was healty and talkative. Saturday she complained not feeling well. Sunday morning she was confused and I rushed her to emergency room at hospital. Missed diagnosed and poor service, she died less within less than 3 hours. Was told she died of Septic Shock after the blood results came back.

    As-salam-alikum Sir, this was one of the excellent videos on sepsis. But sir, one thing, you have not talked about all those things like SOFA criteria, qSOFA, SIRS (Systemic Inflammatory Response Syndrome). And also, one important antibiotic can be Tetracycline right sir? Because it covers some deadly pathogens like Klebsiella, etc. And at what stage is Carbapenems given? Do we need to wait for culture reports or can carbapenems be started empirically? And for refractory shock with/without hypoxemia , can ECMO be used as an adjunct to other supportive measures? Do we need to check for viral/fungal/parasitic infections also if someone presents with sepsis?

      The same happened with me in this medanta hospital. I am totally shattered. I believe those incompetent doctors couldn't predict early warning signs of sepsis by calculating septic index.
      These people will also go through all the pain and even worse!

      @jamesbweyagera3308 ปีที่แล้ว +13

      @@ABhonestopinion12 not really dear. The way he is explaining it he is making easier but in real hospital scenario it's very hard to save septic shock patients. Not easy at all even if you do all those. I have evidenced it very many times. So these videos are mainly meant for Drs but non medics can easily be misguided not everything is said or can be comprehended in his 10minute video
