Thanks. According to the manual when I did this, the oil capacity is supposed to be 600ml. But this bike was way overfilled. th-cam.com/video/8wVFukzGhAI/w-d-xo.html
Awesome channel one of the only few I've found on this bike definitely subscribing can u do a video on how to fix a leaking carb an changing tires an brakes?
Hi Thomas, thanks very much for your nice note. I really appreciate it. Unfortunately, I don't have this bike anymore. It belonged to a neighbor who had a house fire that resulted in the bikes being smoke-damaged. I offered to clean them up and get them running again, just to help out a little. I really enjoyed working on these cool little Hondas! Best wishes, Mike
previous owner over-filled it, probably emptied a whole 943ml jug into it and didn't pay attention to the 600ml capacity/couldnt be assed to measure it
Many thanks! Picked up an '84 last week and giving it a good once over.
Great video.
Isn’t there an oil filter or oil screen? Doesn’t the drain bolt need a new crush washer?
Honda uses 17 mm drain plug in my Honda car...2008 model!

It looked as if there was less clean oil going in then there was dirty oil drained out ?

Nice vid. BTW the units of torque are length * force, therefore, "inch-pounds" not "pounds per inch".
Thank you Rick. I appreciate the clarification. Cheers, Mike
Wow 900ml.
